OMG, I NEED THIS, thank you very much
Very good buddy
So if I start using this tool, will my biceps get like yours?
Since you'll be standing up you'll be using you back and glut muscle buddy
When my tile was installed in a new home the installer first screwed down cement backerboard to the subfloor and then installed the tile. Well, after 15 years some of the tile is coming loose so I want to replace the floor myself. I see you are removing the thinset from concrete, would this tool also be appropriate for removing the thinset from cement backerboard?
No will not work for that...it's best to remove the backerboard and replace then re-tile
man I need to start lifting weights
No just use that machine for 8hrs. I did all day today i bought that tool and my arms look like that now. 💪
Holy chest hair Batman! 😳
Gotta keep warm in the batcave
why not use the same bit as the thicker chisel used to remove the tile?
Personal preference, some prefer the thinner blade of this scraper, also it's much longer so not leaning over as much, especially helpful for larger jobs
The blade get hot then it breaks
How do you keep the screws in place? Mine are falling like crazy
The bolts come with a medium threadlocker and nord-lock washers. If that doesn't hold them try swapping the bolts for the spares that come with the tool. You can also add a stronger threadlocker. If you still have issues send your order number, address and where you purchased from to info@thinsetremoval.com we can either get you a refund, replacement or send you a one piece 6 in Wide scraper
I am doing a remodeling at home and I have tile on subfloor. Would this bit work for that?
If the subfloor is concrete it should work if it's on hardibacker/plywood . Would recommend breaking the tike and replacing the hardibacker
@@thinsetremovalbit8241 It's a 20 year old house so its tile, on mud which sits on plywood subfloor. There is no concrete. Just plywood subfloor.
Dang that boy is beefy 😅
what rating is this video?
NC-17
Looks like you're removing thinset from a concrete base. Not as difficult as residential plywood subfloor. Do you have a video of thinset removal from a subfloor?
Sorry don't have any videos on that type of subfloor. Yes depending on the condition of the plywood it could get ugly. Might be better off using a grinder with a dust shroud for that: www.amazon.com/dp/B0745LQQX8?ref=myi_title_dp
Al F it’s easier to remove tile from a home with a sub floor😂 you hit it once and it all breaks up
Do you have a recommended AMP size for the rotary hammer for taking up the thin set?
Anything around or greater 10 should be fine
well someone's been lifting a few weights ;-)
I bought one and all the bolts get loose and break off. I wasnt very impressed by it.
Send us an email info@thinsetremoval.com with a picture of the damaged item and your order info and we will replace or refund you
Same thing happened to mine
