if you started back in 2017, you would have suffered greatly for 3 years from mining. a lot of miners quit and sold all their equipment. i’m glad i procrastinated selling my equipment. i invested $70k, best thing i had ever done.
Dont be only influenced by this. Do your own research man. These machines make alot of noise and heat and are power hungry. Also returns might get lesser every month if bear market hits. So be careful
I did the same thing. Put everything into mining this year starting in april with 1 gpu. now up to 1.4ghs (28gpus) and 6 L3 Asics. Im in it forever at this point

I bought a RTX 3090 to run my index VR more smoothly. I watched a YT miner channel saying "hey if you're not at least hooking up to NiceHash or similar you're an idiot!" - So I did and it made $9/day. Every since then, I can't stop thinking about mining.
That’s about how I started.. I just had an rx 580 for VR also, then hooked it up and made like $3 a day or whatever it makes and my brain wouldn’t stop so I watched every video I could and dropped $10k on 3080’s.. Now I’m $50,000 into ASICS and I’m not stopping!

Enjoyed this video as I did the same. Bought $25k in gpu's November 2020, mined for 6 months, then sold them for $50k. With that bought 1 Ck5, 2 x Z15's, 1 DR5 and 1 L7. Sure wish that L7 would get here as it's already a month late as you know. Good luck to all us nuts.

I started mining in may. I was fortunate to have the money to pay cash for them. I built an Eth rig first, bought an L3+, then a 3x S19J Pro's, and now I just got an L7 ordered. After the L7 shows up I should be making somewhere around 7k/mo profit. Built a shed in my backyard to put them all in and it's bee awesome. People think I'm crazy but it's working!! Ask me that again when crypto crashes lol
I absolutely love it! It may dip, but Ill be pretty confident it will rise again! I ended up canceling my L7 and going with 4 S19J Pros - and BOY OH BOY do they make a lot of heat together!!! But so far it looks like the numbers are all correct, this thing is going to make a killing (until the dificulty or price of BTC changes)!
I watch a lot of content on UA-cam (hours a day). Most of the time "smashing the like" is mentioned, but I simply just overlook it. It becomes a it annoying and everyone is schilling likes and subs. I have nothing against it and I like to help people get their content out there and be successful, just often I am on to the next video and don't do it. You know I just did this myself. Kinda got screwed for a while 60% of my machines got broken in shipping. I had approx 40% working at first. Now I’ve sorted out 75% of them by now but even some of the replacement parts they sent me got broken. Put extra shipping insurance. Took me 2~ months to get the parts for them. That payment sucks when you only at half revenue Shipping is tough on miners. Even if they’re not directly damaged they will knock of heat sinks and misc electronics off the boards. I had my seller send me the boards in a box in a wooden crate and they still damaged stuff. Dhl is most reliable. Ups is the worst. Poolin has highest payout at the moment, and reduced fee. They also have mining wallet that gains apy to increase earnings
WOW that is a bummer! Im so sorry. So far I think Ive been incredibly lucky and all 7 of my machines came in perfect working order. Im buying two more S19s over christmas and Im actually driving to my US supplier to get them myself!
Welcome to the addiction! I’ve been mining Eth since late 2017. I’m on the west coast of Florida and the summers are rough but with enough air flow, like you have, the miners are fine.
Dude I’m stuck with a GPU rig I made for eth about 6 months ago. 6 video cards super high end. I don’t pay for electrics What do you suggest I mine after eth is unminable ?

UPDATE: We are one month in and it looks like I have made $400 after electric is paid. Next month maybe $1,000 and my first cash out on an ASIC miner. Still, I'm tempted to get a MinerMaster Immersion Cooler and solve my noise and heat problem so a thorn in my side can be removed. What's more important compared to my frayed nerves? If I get the cooler I can overclock maybe 20%.
Just placed an order for 85 A4+ machines. Electricity is less that .07/KWH, so Net should be around $16K/ month. Numbers are insane. 230% ROI year 1.. I'll take that return. Also looking at building out another immersion cooled SHA-256 farm with 225 S9J's. ROI not as high right now, but diversification is good. Good luck with your farm..

I've made it a habit for some time to put $1600/month into crypto. This year I got smart and started mining on a larger scale. Have 2.7 gh/s on ETH right now that I paid 30k out of pocket and financed another 30k to build. Now I pay $1600/month on the debt for the equipment instead of putting it directly into crypto, mine $6500/month worth of ETH and am building equity in the hardware that I can sell later.

I didn't have to pay to much for them back then but now they have paid for themselves. I just worry about the $40,000. You have more guts than me:) I am actually going to wait for some form of correction. And see what GPU prices do. I have a new computer that has a 3080 TI. What do you think I can make per month? And what are mining with your 3080's?
@@designmy743 I have five 3080’s and they pull in about $1100 a month after electrical cost. Of course that changes constantly because of the price fluctuation.. They mine at 95-98mh/s but the ti I think will do a little better.. I’m mining Ethereum with them for now. Interested to see what the future holds after the merge since they’re just so powerful! For the ASICS, I have a pretty good feeling this crop of machines will run effectively for a few years!! I’m actually already planning an upgrade- I’ve got a chunk of vacant land to sell and I might upgrade my electrical panel and get just a few more.
L7s aren't even being built right now at Bitmain. Don't expect a shipment until 2022. Also, when calculating you profitability cut the profit you expect to make by half.
It’s a while later now, I changed my mind on the L7, and ended up getting 4x S19J Pros and three L3++’s. The profit is actually HIGHER than I expected!! I’m pulling in about $5500 a month, incredible

You can't go wrong with the L7 long term. The efficiency is off the charts. I can't say I know more than you. But if you're worth your salt in this game... efficiency and hash to watt ratio is the number to keep your eye on not temporary reports of profitability. Good luck but with your choices I am sure you won't need it. If I had a critique...it would be that you didn't get a 2nd L7 ;-)

Surprisingly well. I just put out a video about all of my passive income streams and it turns out I’m making about $600 per day, now. Granted Bitcoin mining is only about $100 of that.

Save yourself the headache and just buy ether, sol, avax and matic for your cash and make more then you make from mining. And if definatly want to mine you should be mining when the market is in the shitter and crypto is cheap and nobody is interested in mining. Then you get 10 times as many coins cause the hashrates are low and then just sit on your coins until the market goes crazy again

Just saying there are a ton of more efficient Asics out there. And I didn't even started to list all the better btc ones. I personally wouldn't go with 225 the S9J's which are from 2018.
@@PrimeSicilian I ended up going with 6 S19J pros. That model was released in October of 2021. They’re very efficient and I’m into mining Bitcoin above kadena.

I've made it a habit for some time to put $1600/month into crypto. This year I got smart and started mining on a larger scale. Have 2.7 gh/s on ETH right now that I paid 30k out of pocket and financed another 30k to build. Now I pay $1600/month on the debt for the equipment instead of putting it directly into crypto, mine $6500/month worth of ETH and am building equity in the hardware that I can sell later.
ASICS are worthless at about 4 years age. You need to depreciate those assets in your business plan

I didn't have to pay to much for them back then but now they have paid for themselves. I just worry about the $40,000. You have more guts than me:) I am actually going to wait for some form of correction. And see what GPU prices do. I have a new computer that has a 3080 TI. What do you think I can make per month? And what are mining with your 3080's?
@@designmy743 I have five 3080’s and they pull in about $1100 a month after electrical cost. Of course that changes constantly because of the price fluctuation.. They mine at 95-98mh/s but the ti I think will do a little better..
I’m mining Ethereum with them for now. Interested to see what the future holds after the merge since they’re just so powerful!
For the ASICS, I have a pretty good feeling this crop of machines will run effectively for a few years!! I’m actually already planning an upgrade- I’ve got a chunk of vacant land to sell and I might upgrade my electrical panel and get just a few more.

L7s aren't even being built right now at Bitmain. Don't expect a shipment until 2022. Also, when calculating you profitability cut the profit you expect to make by half.
It’s a while later now, I changed my mind on the L7, and ended up getting 4x S19J Pros and three L3++’s.
The profit is actually HIGHER than I expected!! I’m pulling in about $5500 a month, incredible

You can't go wrong with the L7 long term. The efficiency is off the charts. I can't say I know more than you. But if you're worth your salt in this game... efficiency and hash to watt ratio is the number to keep your eye on not temporary reports of profitability. Good luck but with your choices I am sure you won't need it. If I had a critique...it would be that you didn't get a 2nd L7 ;-)

Save yourself the headache and just buy ether, sol, avax and matic for your cash and make more then you make from mining.
And if definatly want to mine you should be mining when the market is in the shitter and crypto is cheap and nobody is interested in mining.
Then you get 10 times as many coins cause the hashrates are low and then just sit on your coins until the market goes crazy again
