Thanks Milo and Eric. This video helped explain a lot.
DUDE!!!.......... gold right there. Sucks watching this while on Night shift, just wanna get to the range an try this out
Great video. World of difference in my ball sound after hitting these little chip shots.
Great to hear!
Excellent!!
that wrist concept is a life changing event for me... :-)
*Tried it with very positive repetitive results yesterday the delay in smash is freakishly simple and powerful with no tension the arms quite simple and accurate once you find your locations.*
I'm in! 🙂👍🙏⛳️🏌️🍻
Two out of my three favorite instructors. Eric taught me to draw the ball, Milo taught me how to eliminate early arm swinging. Danny Maude (in case your curious)
Eric is a smart man!
@@MiloLinesGolf No doubt about it. Milo, do not short change yourself. I have watched thousands of golf instruction vids. I’ve been to 5 different instructors AND yet your the only one who explained the swing in a way like no other! YOU are the bloody expert (which doesn’t mean best golfer) at teaching. I am loving every video. ☝️💪 I could go emoji stupid here just accept the praise as you should, Just smile and wave boys (that comes from my great grandsons favorite movie Madagascar)
Wow great to see you great pros working together to help us get better many thanks i have a quick question because it relates to the arms and hands and both of you have explained how to set the left arm and elbow at address it seems a good time to clear up which is more correct You feel the left elbow should face the target and Eric says to tuck the left elbow down and under and face the hip exactly opposite ia m very confused as to what should happen with the elbow can you help clear this up pls it seems a important part of the set up tks
Look at what the best do not what they say.
The circle Eric refer to in the last part of the vid I presume that is the slot most people will refer to?
Great video in explaining how different grips impact how the swing will look for different players. The only thing I would add is that I reckon all good golfers irrespective of grips and how deep or vertical they swing it have one "feeling" in common - they are all moving their arms, bodies , wrists to achieve one goal - an ideal impact position. For me focusing on where my right shoulder is at impact is that feeling.
👍
Milo, do you try to hold the right wrist angle at all on your downswing or just let the pivot control it? sometimes it feels like I don't get enough shaft lean even though I turn enough.
Depends on the shot I’m hitting
@@MiloLinesGolf for a standard 7 iron shot.....
Jeff Fannin it’s free wheeling on all stock shots
As the lead wrist works toward flexion at the top, the but of the club points way out beyond the ball target line. why is that not a problem?
Its not a problem because the arms will lower some amount between transition and impact.
When I do this then I start to hit ball left. Any idea what happens?

thx. for all the great info Milo, just sub'd on your way to 8K.
What happens if you are not doing this in your downswing?
Darryl Summers depends on what you are doing
Golfletics Sorry, I should maybe be more specific. What could be the net result if I fail to increase the flex in my right wrist as a right handed golfer?
Darryl Summers another depends on the other moving pieces. I can only really help if I can see the swing.
Extending the trail wrist and flexing the lead wrist will naturally lead to tension in both arms, or at least it does with me.... on the other hand, relaxing the both wrists leads to less tension, but results in a cupped condition and steep angle of attack, big problem. BUT ... Why doesn't the effort to flex and extend the wrists create problems with tension and lead to problems and a hit impulse rather than a loose "slinging" of the club.
I’d have to see you swing to know for sure what to tell you.
@@MiloLinesGolf OK, I'm going to make my way from my home base in Tennessee to see you in AZ, but in the meantime, maybe we could do some online lessons.
@@jmm4081 for sure! To get on my schedule visit milolinesgolf.com membership in the site also includes a monthly swing evaluation.

For me, with the proper grip for me and relaxed shoulders, arms and wrists all this happens by itself. Milo taught me this in 2 lessons.
Um you ever heard of thoracic pivot and the humerus moves first in a humans downswing the wrist at low point. Fact
can you leave Eric Cogorno out of your video's? If someone want to see him , they can find him. I like to hear you only Milo
yes, i like the videos of them together but eric kinda takes over a little too much.
Yeah eric just talks way too much and doesn't add much value, it's annoying actually
you talk to much
