Despicable Me 4, Deadpool & Wolverine, Inside Out 2 And Joker Folie A Deux

I think the 5 movies most likely to make a billion in 2024 are Deadpool 3, Joker 2, Inside Out 2, Moana 2, and Mufasa. The two R-rated movies are highly anticipated follow-ups to successful movies. The three PG-rated movies will probably do well because they are all connected to already loved stories and kids movies tend to have good legs.
The 1 change i would make to that list is replace moana 2 with despicable me 4, apart from that thats the exact same movies i chose
I agree with Deadpool & Wolverine, Joker 2, Inside Out 2 and Mufasa The Lion King..., but I think Moana 2 won't get there. The previous film grossed 687M.
Instead, I would say Despicable Me 4 may gross 1B+ considering how the previous films did.

I think that the only movies that could make 1 billion this Summer are Despicable Me 4 and Deadpool and Wolverine.
There's a high chance Inside Out 2 will make that as well. Pixar sequels are notorious for making BANK

Deadpool & Wolverine, Despicable Me 4, and Inside Out 2 are the films I think have a shot at a billion worldwide, with Deadpool & Wolverine being the likely one of these three to make that billion

will either pass 1B+ or come close to 1B+ just like Minions 2 and Doctor Strange 2.
In terms of 2024 as a whole, I would add Joker 2 and Mufasa The Lion King.
I think these 5 films have a very realistic chance to cross 1B+ this year.
Deadpool & Wolverine and Joker: Folie a Deux are the only 2024 movies I think will make a billion dollars. I want Inside Out 2 to make a billion but I'm only 50/50 certain about it.
I personally think there is a chance that borderlands will make a billion dollars as it has a very strong following through its video game franchise and maybe all the fans will see it.
Also the Despicable me getting Jokic to dress up as Gru is one of the best marketing tactics I've seen in a while. Maybe I'm bias as he's already a god here in Colorado but getting an athlete that famous and that illusive about doing commercials/appearances doing a spot on impersonation is top tier marketing.

UNLIKELY - Furiosa > Bad Boys 4 > Borderlands > Alien Romulus > A Quiet Place Day One > > The Crow >The Garfield Movie

Quick question, if we got an animated dreamworks Fortnite movie based off chapter 2 season 2 (if you don’t Fortnite it was a spy themed season) how much money do you think it would make? I think it has a good chance at making 1 billion
I think any animated Fortnite movie could easily do $1 billion

Just saw the trailer for The Crow today for the first time before watching Civil War and I gotta say it didn't look good whatsoever. Also, I love how this vid came out and then Kraven got delayed to Christmas lmfao. Also Chris you gotta watch Twister it truly is a classic.

I’m sure Deadpool & Wolverine would gross $1 billion at the box office and maybe even more after I saw how Spider-Man: No Way Home ( an another MCU movie focused on the multiverse) became successful.
Despicable Me 4 has a change because Minions: The Rise of Gru almost grossed $1 billion and people are still interested in the franchise even after it took five years to release Minions 2 after Despicable Me 3. Minions and Despicable Me 3 were well successful even when they both received less good reviews from critics.
Inside Out also almost grossed $1 billion, so I think Inside Out 2 also has a good change
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes deserves to gross $1 billion after the three predecessors were all great. Dawn is one of the highest grossing movies of 2014 and War also succeeded so Kingdom can do that as well even with a whole new cast.
Honorable mention: Joker 2 (which I know will release in October and not in the summer) also will gross $1 billion after the predecessor became a hit. The teaser trailer has more views than any other Warner Bros movie at this moment, thus showing people are still interesting in Joker.
Minions is mass entertainment for the lowest denominator. It’s the only one guaranteed to cross a billion.

I’m predicting that the only film that will make a billion for the WHOLE YEAR will be D&W, but would not be surprised if it makes a little less than that.
