Shop With a Hero - 2023

Granite City Police Department Lieutenant Jeremy Hunter called it the Best Day of the Year for the volunteers!
On Sunday, GCPD along with Granite City Firefighters Local 253 and the Pontoon Beach, Madison and Terminal Railroad Police Departments hosted its annual 'Shop with a Hero' event.
Students got to ride in a Police Car, Fire Truck or Ambulance to shop at Walmart, and then joined their family at Township Hall for a meal provided by St. John UCC Granite City.
