Hiking the Fremont Gorge Viewpoint Trail, Capitol Reef National Park: May 19, 2024

I began hiking the Fremont River Trail from Fruita Campground to the National Park Visitor Center; but then decided to take a left and follow the Fremont Gorge Viewpoint Trail. It was an excellent choice; no crowds and outstanding scenery on my abbreviated hike up to the mesa, climbing only about 300 feet in elevation.

Thank you! It is beautiful and peaceful National Park! I love just wandering around and going with what catches my attention. The following day I hiked up Cohab Canyon. You can check that video, if you like (a bit longer than this one, though).
