- Why is this video still getting views?
I had made it my goal to complete a doors run with 200% modifiers active but seeing how difficult this was and knowing how bad certain modifier combos are I'm probably gonna ditch trying that
This was kinda like an inbetween of Nightmare Gauntlet and Glitch Style Chaos Mode, really difficult (but not at the level of N-Gauntlet) but also very RNG dependant (but still not at the level of GSCM, though unwinnable situations did appear).
Modifiers in case you don't know what they do
-Electrical Work
Lights can't flicker* or break
*Seek still flickers them
This only affects identifying Rush and Halt. Halt is whatever but with Rush you just need to listen out. Lights also can't break meaning less dark rooms that Screech can spawn in.
-El Goblino's Payday
No gold spawns
-Out Of Stuff
No non-essential items spawn
Basically draws are useless outside of keys.
-Gone Fishing
No Guiding Light hints, including Seek chases
Makes things a little harder but with something I pull for Seek it doesn't change much.
-Soundproofing
Certain items don't make sound
Makes room 50 and 100 a bit more difficult but that's about it. I don't use the sound keys make in the first place.
-Key Key Key Key (shortened to Keyx4 in the video)
Almost every room is locked and requires a key. Increases chance for normal locked rooms to spawn
Finding a key can be very annoying, especially with bigger dark rooms but this also has benefits, mainly Rush can't open doors prematurely, stopping another Rush from spawning or miscounting rooms and dying to Dupe. This also prevents accidentally running into Dupe.
-Last Breath
You will instantly die to any "fatal" damage (like Eyes or Screech, not like Timothy or Snare)

Crouching is very slow
This doesn't change much outside of room 50 and 100. Those rooms you just have to be patient in.
-Worst Time Ever
Entities spawn rates are massively increased. Rush can naturally spawn on its own. You may encounter Rush and Ambush in rooms without hiding spots
This is the main difficulty of the run. You'll get a Rush almost every 3 rooms if you're LUCKY. This you have to be patient with again, otherwise you will run into impossible circumstances.
-Battle Of Wits
If possible, Dupe will almost always spawn. Dupe makes no sound and erases door numbers in less than a second from opening a door
As much as I want to say this modifier is literally free, Dupe was the cause of most of my deaths past door 50. Luckily Keyx4 stops you from opening the wrong door on accident.
-Think Faster
Screech spawns a lot more often and gives almost no time to react
For this you'll want to know how to identify Screech before it goes *psst*. If you take things slow and look for your camera shaking then you can always find Screech very fast.
Do Not combined with I'm Everywhere, worst mistake of my life
-Nosey
Eyes spawns more often... apparently
Eyes spawned twice in this entire run and neither were in the greenhouse, where I'm pretty sure its spawn rate is increased. Free 5%. I originally avoided Eyes modifiers as I've had times where slow wifi lets it spawn in with no warning but it's really not that bad.
-You Really Can Run
Seek chase is longer and spawns earlier
Because of something I pull on Seek, this actually makes the game easier as many entities can't spawn once eyes appear on the wall till a few rooms after the chase.
-Back For Seconds
Ambush spawns more frequently
Not that bad to be honest though I think I was lucky. I've had Ambush spawn 2 rooms after an Ambush before with this and Worst Time Ever on.
-Rent's Due
Hide is extremely fast
It's a lot more lenient than you might expect.
-Roundabout
Halt is guaranteed (but Worst Time Ever probably would've done the same thing) and is much more difficult
The buffed Halt is actually quite fun tbh though if you're too slow because of certain mods then it's RNG whether you pass or not unluckily.
-Watch Your Step
Snare may spawn outside of greenhouse
Really not that bad
-Stop Right There
A-90 can attack
In The Rooms A-90 is the worst of the 3 entities. ironically in the Hotel it's the easiest of the 3 Rooms entities.

Fun fact: Figure detects your speed. Not when you're crouching. So, if you were going very fast, Figure would easily detect you. However, if you go very slow, Figure will have a hard time detecting you. So the modifier that makes you slow is an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time.
When i used a modifier that increased my speed i was wondering why the library was so difficult… now i know
Yup, if your speed is boosted then figure will always hear you, so you dont have to crouch (figure is easy to outrun then)
It also gives controller and mobile players a bigger advantage since they can control their movespeed precisely
but how dose it get the base (player sped / the max) or dose it (get the speed the player is going at a time?)

This is insane. Like, insane insane. I barely managed to beat doors with 150% PERCENT, and this MADLAD comes and beats it at 175%. You have earned my respect. amazing job!
At least you can beat hotel hell, my hardest achievement is beating doors with the “Chaos Chaos” modifier (one of the modifiers were “Always watching” and “Didn’t skip leg day” which made door 50 and 100 a lot harder)

even for how many extra knobs it gives, I've always found roundabout to be just BRUTAL. On its own its hard enough (especially if Halt decides to mess with you and not let you progress since he naturally speeds up the longer you take), but any modifier that can make it harder (speed mods, his room being locked which keyx4 and most of its variants can do, or worst time ever just bugging shit out and making rush/ambush start halt or follow you into halt) just make the modifier absolute hell. Not worth adding to a hotel hell run imo.
EDIT: it has come to my attention that Halt's room can never be locked even with keyx4 anymore. That's honestly a massive fix because getting a locked halt room otherwise is just p a i n
Keyx4 stops the rush issue and a strat that's been found is to literally just stand at the side of the hallway and Halt literally can't get to you (though you still need to go to the middle to progress forward)

The idea of backtracking instead of using closets or hiding out of sight is really a clever idea.

in terms of 200% mods though I don't have much interest in doing it anymore since I'd have to start adding on modifiers that can cause impossible circumstances/unfair deaths and the seek bug was patched, along with another bug that would've made a lights out seek chase possible without guessing the correct door

@@Andreguayta for some reason you could see fake doors' door knobs in the seek chase from far away but not real doors' door knobs meaning you could do a lights out seek chase without any issues if you knew what to look for, but it seems like it's either fixed or the effects during an actual chase doesn't let you see them
On the topic of lights out though I've also discovered a modifier combo which sounds stupid on paper but might be the key for 200 mods
Lights Out + Bad Ventilation
While both limit vision, bad ventalation actually lets you see more in dark rooms ironiclly and honestly gives me a bit of hope that 200 mods might be doable with that (since that gives 45%/250% (adding think faster because screech doesn't spawn)) so I actually might start trying it now

I find A-90 really easy to deal with in the Hotel while the other 2 are a nightmare.
In Rooms A-90 was absolute hell to deal with while A-60 was pretty easy and A-120 was just pathetic but in the Hotel A-90 goes from hellish to easy while A-60/120 are both nightmares to deal with. (A-60's sound clashes with ambience making it difficult to detect while A-120 is very deadly with Hide and, if using Really Bad Time or higher (and maybe Rush Hour), DISABLES SAFE SPOTS)
While I haven’t beaten hotel hell, I beat a-1000 when it came out, I think a-90 is actually pretty easy, he just gives me the heebie jeebies and I prefer not to play with him lmao

Rush at door 35 made my heart stop for a moment
So since rush can open doors, I had a time where rush came then opened a door, causing a another rush. This repeated 4 times and void killed me because of it
this is actually where Key Key Key Key is really useful, that and you can't accidentally Dupe yourself

You can beat halt with slowdown mods if you hug the wall of the room when he tells you to turn around. His hitbox isn’t wide enough so you can literally let him pass until he tells you to turn around again making him extremely easy

One thing I’ve noticed is that right before a screech, along with a slight camera shake, is a noise that sounds similar to a reverse symbol. This can help too ig.

tip for Screech:
wear a low high volume Set while wearing a headset. screech makes a static noise when he spawns in which makes him way easier to deal with.

congrats, this is definitely no easy feat, looks like a hotel nightmare.
I hope in the future the devs add modifiers similar to the rooms entities ones, but for the new Backdoor entities (blitz, lookman, vacuum). However, I’m not sure how haste would work, because the hotel has no time limit feature, so haste’s spawning would probably have to be altered.
One thing I'll say is that this set of modifiers is terrible, you can do 200% easier then this

Nah, I think haste would work fine. Just replace the doors and add the time switches and it would work I think.

Something I've noticed about screech is static can be heard when he spawns in, so listen closely.
Another thing with doing modifiers ( taking hotel hell for this)
Is that a90 doesn’t temporarily make rush or ambush stop like in rooms

if you do 200% you (should) get an achievement called "this hotel is worse than hell!"
Yo Westie, idk whether or not you knew this and chose not to do it, but you can use lockpick on breaker room and it saves you time by not having you get the key. (This you definitely know) You can use one of the ones on a locked door if you absolutely need to.

I have tried higher modifier runs and I have some notes you can use
Bad Vent + Lights Out is quite a good combo as Bad Ventilation actually makes dark rooms easier. The only problem is major problem is Seek which requires either a flashlight (which can take a bit of getting use to) or a guaranteed Eyes modifier. You may also want to mess with your screen settings if possible.
Lights Out prevents Screech from spawning (unless I'm Everywhere is active) so Lights Out should always be paired with Think Faster for a free 10%
Also if Screech has spawned you are immune to Eyes until it attacks you or you look at Screech
As annoying as Eyes can be, Always Watching or higher will most likely show you the correct doors to go through (unless it spawns close to the starting door), including in Seek Chases
My Legs Are Killing Me + Injuries (as long as you're at low health or have last breath is active) will make it so Figure cannot hear you even while standing. Only problem is you will need 3 vitamins (2 for the Seek Chases and one for the start of room 100 if you have Come Back Here enabled, you can thank Anormal1 who managed 200% mods for finding that)
If you use Room For More and have any modifiers that let Rush naturally spawn (Rush Hour, Really Bad Time, Worst Time Ever) then you cannot use safe spots as A-120 will kill you guaranteed (also if you're wondering how Rooms entities work in the Hotel, they replace Rush Attacks)

@@makomancerhe did do it it’s under playlists on his channel I checked he did use chaos chaos which does give 5 random mods so it’s eaiser then a normal 200% mod run without any random mods but he had 4 eyes and I’m everywhere and think faster and that was very impressive.

Even tho this video is a bit old uhhh here's a fun fact since in the video, you talked about how you thought the rain ambiance was rush you would be a bit correct but there's a sound in the game that's a more quiet version of rush and it's ment to be rush in another room/far away and it's made me so paranoid while playing and hearing it
