Thanks hifiesta! Believe it or not, Phil Bodner was the leader on the very FIRST jazz album I ever owned. The year was 1968; the album, "Dear Heart"(RCA, 1963). Joining Phil was a group of New York jazz legends-I've since procured another copy!
While I love This Song by the Living Jazz featuring Phil Bodner. Nothing can beat back his work with the Brass Ring, particularly the Disadvantages of You. Oh!!!! I just love that song and its impeccable arrangement. Reminds me so much of the early years of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Wonderful stuff.

I have this album and I love it! Wish I could find a better copy though because mine is scratched right up :(
My record also crackle. But i clean it digital with a professional program. Next Time i will the full Album upload.
