Wet. Lost. Guard Rail at SMORR Trail Guide and Commentary

- I got soaked and a little lost on Guard Rail at Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR). Guard Rail is one of three Jeep Badge of Honor Trails at the park including Pee Wee's Crossing and Cougar Crossing. This relatively easy trail follows a creek after a short hill descent, but I ended up taking the Renegade trail loop by accident and found some extra boulders, ledges, and a waterfall!
This video shows the route I took and how to find your way back to the main Ranch Road 1 after completing Guard Rail. I'm driving a Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon with 37-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires on KMC Machete Crawl beadlocks and 2.5 inches of lift. - Авто та транспорт
Just came across your videos. great job! I'm heading up that way next month with a buddy of mine for a weekend trip. we were going to hit K-Rocks too (been there already but it was the December before they got the badge trails.) but decided to spend 2 whole days wheeling SMORR. maybe catch ya on a trail! keep the shiny side up and rubber down!
Thanks, hopefully you get just enough water in the creeks to make it interesting!
Going for those badges next month; nice video 😇
Thanks! There are also two new trails at Kansas Rocks park which isn't that far away from SMORR, something to consider for your trip.
Awesome; I'll try for those aswell.
Thank you, B 😇
Stony Lonesome is in Alabama, not Georgia. And you're right, I avoid it if it's wet because it's like riding on ice.
Nice video! I was at SMORR for the first time about the same time you were. I had a geolocated map on my tablet and it made navigation easier. Even with that I accidentally got on Flex n Stuff in my 2 door. Not a good idea with the short wheelbase.
Yes, you can get into trouble with a wrong turn! Getting lost and trying to understand the map and signs was a big theme of that visit.
