Hey buddy, I was having the exact same problem, after messing around and fixing all the beat up wires , it kept on doing the same thing, then I opened the unit for the 5th time within 2 days, I found that fuse holder was kind of lose and touching the alternator, so I zip tied it away and it ran just fine, only to stop again after driving for the day. I opened it again, and I noticed that the lower wire of the fuse holder was damaged and was shorthing, so I fix that too, and for now I'm good 😊. I wanted to ask you , are you sure that the fuse is a 50 amp? because the last time I took it for service, TK put a 80 amp fuse in there. BTW, thanks for the lead on the braker you got from Amazon. I just bought one to get rid of the fuse.
Hows it holding up now? I went with a regular auto stereo amplifier in line 50amp mini ANL fuse. It worked for about six months and finally melted that holder as well.
@@citizenofearth1000that's good. The wire from the original holder goes right into that breaker? With room for the rubber grommets to secure it as well? And did you secure it somehow in the apu frame or is it suspended by the wires themselves?
Great video! Exactly the problem. Looking for that breaker now! Thanks!
Glad to help

Original fuse is 50 amp . I would not use 80 amp fuse unless you want to burn your electric circuits. I hope this info helps.

It works well. I have not had any problems with fuse after the fix.
