    Holy sh*t I was exhausted. Thank you for the opportunity and great questions Ryan, but next time lets not to do it right at the end of Esk8con aha! Hopefully my accent is understandable to most of y'all, and if not, anything you I wasn't clear on, ask away and I'll reply here :)

      I have a nomad n1 gear drive with the 14s4p Samsung battery. Gotta say, the best purchase I've made in the last year. 600+ miles of fun so far with the only hiccup being a flat tire from a kiawe thorn. It is truly a pleasure. Planning on an upgrade with whatever version of nomad or nyx that you have available in another year and a half or so. Thanks for a fantastic product.

    Really looking acedeck to make the ares x1 a flexible carbon fiber deck. Like how the ruckus is but in the style of acedeck x1. Add on the new geardrive with an exclusive acedeck gold colored next hub. Now that would be some hot fiyarrr!

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  6 місяців тому

      That's definitely an interesting idea! I would be super interested to see how Acedeck does a flexible board as well.

    Oliver on the left helped me get more turning radius out of my tkp trucks. Taller board-side bushings help tighten those hairpin turns!

    Off topic but I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on fine tuning and balancing bushings. I can't get over that I can do all the technical electronic stuff with vesc, shape decks and seal enclosures and whatever else that seemingly would be more difficult to get right meanwhile what seems to be most simple...adjusting a little piece of urethane...drives me mad

    would love to see on the suspention having dampeners like on MTB, some people were saying that its making this in the Z3 and that it would be a good upgrade

      You mean like the trampa dampas? I'm not sure how much of a difference that will make, but it would be an interesting idea to try.

      The N1 deck is my favorite part of it, the rest is just a solid board. I think the N3 has some good ESC improvements too, but I agree, VESC is just better.

      I do actually, they work great. I have a bit of footage with em on there, they are totally compatible, as long as you use tubes.

    • @acedeckboards
      @acedeckboards 6 місяців тому +2

      The Z1 truly shines with bindings :) It is a mountain board, after all! Fit some bindings on their and the white bushings and your turning radius can be tighter than DKP.

      @@acedeckboards I have binding in NYXZ1 and they work great. I want a dkp option for the Nomad and Ares boards. I need that tight turning radius. I'm probably gonna buy an omni board because of the dkp option

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  6 місяців тому

      I'm not really personally a big DKP fan, I'd try messing around with different bushing combinations before jumping on DKP. In addition, you could try flipping over the washers so they are flat instead of cupped.

    I heard them mention the N3 with street or AT but is it actually possible to run street wheels on the N3?

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  6 місяців тому +1

      That's a good point. It is true that the gear drives are incredibly small. I think if you were to run "street" wheels, the smallest you could do is 105 or 110, but that's pushing it for sure. You'd need to figure out how to adapt as well, or purchase a separate adapter for the wheels, since they use a unique quick disconnect system. The other issue is the axle size, you'd need 22x10 bearings to run em on there, which are not as strong.

      It's not in their interest to admit fault when they sell so many boards - I joke a little bit, but yeah, Acedeck is doing quite well. Hope they can keep it up! Many appealing products in their lineup. After the controversy at the beginning, I'm glad to see them come with innovative, original, and supported designs. They seem to stand behind their work as well, and I hope people continue to have excellent experiences.

    Nothing "innovative" about copying another brands suspension. I was at esk8con to buy an A/D till I saw that . Lame

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  6 місяців тому +1

      I get where you're coming from, and I'm pretty sure I know which board you're talking about. I do agree to some extent that there are some similar looking features, but they way it installs is completely different, and it's unique in its own way.

    • @acedeckboards
      @acedeckboards Місяць тому

      We didn’t copy any suspension system. There’s no thousand ways to fit suspensions to independant wheels. And whether it’s ourselves, Bajaboard, EcoMobl, or Propel, we just miniaturized what we find in automobiles.
      What we did, however, is keep it on a traditional channel truck platform so that the turning stays snappy and reactive. We also made it out of 7075 aluminum instead of cast, it’s very compact, protected by a carbon fiber shield, and now, with integrated lights right in the hanger.
