I thought you wasn’t supposed to set the hook when your using circular hooks?

You aren’t supposed to, I just have some muscle memory from using J hooks all my life, I’ll learn eventually, but even with a circle hook once u don’t set the hook too hard you won’t pull it out of their mouth, but still best practice is to not set the hook.
