I almost agree with you 100%, but I can't stand their version of "If I Can't Have You." I know they wrote it, but Yvonne Elliman made it great. The Bee Gees are definitely top notch though.
Once again, a songwriting masterclass from The Bee Gees. They have created a sound that never before existed and can never be replicated. Not a false note. Nothing wasted. No filler. Yet not overdone. Brilliant.
Honestly you guys have barely scratched the surface with the Bee Gees. They have, many, many sides and sounds. You havent even begun to hit their "pre disco" earlier stuff or their later stuff. It's a huge catalogue for sure! And all of it is fantastic! Glad you came back around to them as it's been a minute since you have.😊

"Spirits Having Flown" was an awesome album by the Bee Gees. With hits like "Tragedy", "Too Much Heaven" and the song you've just listened to, this was vintage Gibb Brothers!
On this day 9th June 1979, Bee Gees track “Love You Inside Out” hit #1 in the U.S. This track, like many of their hits before it, made history for The Bee Gees. It was the ninth number one single for the group in the U.S. (10th when counting “Lonely Days” which was released before Billboard charts existed) 👍🏻😁🏴
Spirits Having Flown came out when I was in high school. My friends and I choreographed a dance to this song. I think I even remember some of the moves! 😀
The BeeGees actually preferred to have their songs have a rhythm and blues inspiration. Motown producer Quincy Jones called "Fanny Be Tender With My Love" one of his favorite R&B songs of all time. So please - FANNY BE TENDER WITH MY LOVE next! And for a little BeeGees ten years after their 70s hits please check out 1987s "YOU WIN AGAIN". You know, every time I see a BeeGees reaction by you guys I hit the " Like" immediately. I don't even have to know the song because I know it will be amazing. ❤
most amazing thing about the BeeGees was that they had 3 separate distinct periods of popularity; 3 different generations of listeners; so awesome - old BeeGees, Disco BeeGees, and post Disco more modern BeeGees!!
Listening to the Bee Gees for most of my life, this is my favorite Brothers Gibb song! My second favorite is the sexy & sultry song "Bodyguard". THIS IS A MUST REACT! You got the pop; the rock; the funk; now it's time to get busy with the Bee Gees "quiet storm". GREAT REACTION!

My friend Travis would have loved your channel. He died in November 2016 after complications from a stroke. He was a huge Bee Gees fan and we met in high school. He was only 46 when he passed. Travis introduced me to a lot of Bee Gees songs and he could play piano and even made some short films. One of his favorite songs by them is one that frequently gets requested here which is “Fanny Be Tender With My Love”. You will both love it, Amber and Jay. It was one of Travis’s favorites, too. He was a good dude. And I’ll forever be grateful to him for teaching me some piano chords and introducing so many Bee Gees songs to me.
The most romantic lyrics are in this song! “You are the reason for my laughter and my sorrow, blow out the candle, I will burn again tomorrow.” Now that’s a man in love!
FINALLY!!! I've been wanting you to react to this one for so long! My very first concert ever was the Bee Gees at Dodger Stadium July of 1979. And this song hit number one that very same week!
She had a couple other memorable songs. "Love Me" and of course from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, she plays Mary Magdalene and sings "I don't know how to love him". There's a couple of other great songs in that movie too.
I can't help but rewatch your reactions on all the BeeGees songs, I am also a die hard fan, have been since I bought my very first album at age 10, and yes it was a BeeGees album lol...love you guys!!!

I really disliked their "disco" era and they were much MORE than a "disco" band. I disliked the falsetto big time. I prefer the 60's, early 70's and 80's onward. IMO Robin's voice was the best of the brothers. I also much prefer the "One for all" concert from 1989 from Melbourne by far to "One Night only".
