“Everyone was in the loop.” Just let that sink in.

Does he really have friends?
Everything in his life is transactional. I think he just has people whose friendship benefits him. They're chosen strategically because they make him look important by association, or he might need to use them some day. Or both.
He makes people complicit in things they wouldn't otherwise do, to protect himself--even if it means potentially ruining their career, their reputation, and their other relationships.
Maybe their freedom.
that really is a good sign... that means, that the actually start to listen to the facts... VERY good direction! Then we can finally share ONE reality again :)
Sondland saw that bus coming, and decided to push first is all.
New Message Trump: “there is no bus! This is fake news!”

If they ever make a “dramedy” about the impeachment hearings, they HAVE to cast Jeff Ross as Sondland.

I think Sondland would want to play himself. LoL

Sondland's T shirt: I paid a million bucks and almost got a jail sentence.
😆😆😆. Nice 1 👍.
That is what I have been thinking about. Sondland is a GOP mega donor. He is in the current trouble he's in because the the GOP and the Trump admin wanted to reward him for his support. Yet if they don't handle that situation with some kind of tact, other mega donors and friends of Sondland might very well start to think "there but for the grace of God go I". It would be all too easy for other donors to see themselves ending up somehow caught up in GOP troubles, illegalities, whatever, and start to want to put some distance between themselves and the party. Which would mean perhaps decreasing support. Besides plain not liking the way Sondland is being treated. Or Rex Tillersen was.
Which may explain this sudden urge that billionaires have to jump in on the Democrat side of politics.
I never would be working in the government, if I was rich enough to buy a position.
What is the motivation for a billionaire to do something like this?
Sonderland, DeVos ... They could lean back and have a comfortable life on a remote island or yacht.
Or is it an ego-trip?
He bought himself these shenanigans. This is some expensive drama.
I paid a million bucks and ended up spending another 2 million on lawyers to help me stay out of jail
Sonland looks like a fun guy to hang with 😂
The Trump Crime Family needs to be prosecuted under the RICO Act.
11 23 19 Hey@Marcos 989, Thanks for the information. I was aware of the investigation. Too bad more people don't read; I had to go through 4-5 articles to finally understand her/their corruption. Maybe, repost you comment on the main thread, maybe. I think more people would read it. Be well. v
What crime?? Dems always baulk when asked because they can name none.
For what
@Marcos 989 You spent paragraphs to say "Nothing Found" Fred Trump was a successful Real Estate Developer who ammassed a $150 Million dollar estate. You can be sure that Tax Attorneys and Accountants have Always done Trump Taxes and advised their every business construction. If you think Donald or his sister ever sat at the kitchen table .. Sweating to find deductions from a tax book you've lost your mind. Donald turned his Dad's 150 Mil into 3.1 Billion over 50 yrs. Owns 14 NYC area Skyscrapers .. But his sister is digging for pennies in the Tax code?? Lol ... Nice ominous story with no punchline you printed.
@Marcos 989 Lol .. Hillarious ! .. Trump's purchases of 500 Million dollar buildings does not coincide with your claims- Claiming only Dad's money made him rich. 90's you say? Trump began construction on Trump Tower in 1979 with Completion in 1982. The Plaza in 88. Taj Mahal in 84. You're so desperate.. and of course .. Though the partisan Times reporter, the Times owned by Clinton benefactor Carlos Slim.. painted an ominous picture. No IRS or Law Enforcement issues from following his Tax Attorney's advice.
I think Seth can probably keep doing a Closer Look every night lately
Hey, I won't complain.
Yup
With each day trumps actions keeps providing material
I love how Sondland just went ahead and spoke plain English :D
Dems are robots. They're nice people, but don't ever bend down and simplify to the plebs what they're saying.
Pity Trump supporters will still need a translator.
@Christien du Preez You make this entire scenario up from a look? Wow! Conspiracy theorist much?
@@khosibmdlalose8806 I.Q. bar for sanity is being lowered further and further. It's progress.
@Christien du Preez Ok sir. I'd imagine that intelligence would percieve rather than percept. Lol.
Trump needs to stop talking to the press next to running helicopters.
Its on purpose I'm sure. The guy has been one of the least accessible presidents. Wont do regular press briefings or interviews.
He does that on purpouse, because he can just say that he didn't understand the question and has to go. It's a trick that started when John Kelly was his chief of staff. John really tried to keep Trump from talking too much. And if you go back, it almost looked like it's gonna be successful at the start.
Better yet resign
@@messenjah Resignation could be viewed as weak, that is why he wont do it. He is more likely to actualy get impeached, because, as crazy as it is, its a better PR for him.
Yet he continues to endlessly!?
at least Sondland is smart enough to know when his goose is cooked and its time to spill the beans
that's why Sonderline could not answer questions and changed his testimony. He could not keep anything straight. If I was on trial and he was my key witness, I would be the happiest man on earth, due to his unable to keep anything straight. The only thing he could keep straight was his jokes about his wife and his amigos, which is not good for someone testifying.

Here is the swamp in the White House that needs to drain.
Trump's is more like a toilet that needs to be unblocked. In response to, "Drain the swamp!", they will be chanting, "Flush the Toilet!"

Thanks Seth and the Late Night team for all the excellent work -- these segments are more valuable than entire day of watching cable news. I post the videos to VisionForAmerica.com whenever I can.

Okay, I was speeding, wife’s not pregnant, don’t even have a wife....was speeding big time, and I’m drunk.....on cocaine”..... 😂
If I was to testify I would ask Jim Jordan how can American people trust him whiles he couldn’t do anything about the sexual harassment when he was a coach?
Couldn't? Or wouldn't?
Agyemang Kwame We keep asking and he could not possibly care less. He is too busy being the tough guy. What a creep.
Not sexual harassment... it was sexual ABUSE, there’s a huge difference. And truthfully I’ve been having daydreams.. oh how I’d rip Jordan, Nunes & all those lying bastards apart

Haha. Gold.
I’d love to hear the president say all that under oath.
What's stopping a liar from lying under oath
I would love to see him testify. He would be run over.
I would also love to watch Guliani testify. That would just be entertaining

@@myriam221 Yes, after WWII, the West (i.e., the U.S.) got some Nazi scientists and the Soviet Union got some. But a lot of the Nazis who committed crimes against humanity were caught, tried and punished (some were put to death). But I agree with you. Some Nazis got off because the U.S. and the USSR both knew the space race was going to define who will rule the world. And it's ironic that the U.S. and Russia are still in our everyday news.

Nunes' demeanor is even more revealing now that we know he is implicated in the case. Odd he didn't recuse himself, it's like the fox judging the case of the missing chicken.
