I tried doing this and... Well my laptop now apparently has a new D: drive and I can play games from there (except for cut scenes which are audio only, only tried The Sly Collection so far).

Hey my man my problem is that it works on the non steam deck library but when I try to play it on desktop emulation it says missing file or not booting so I’m confused on what to do I look everywhere
Run through the steps again on desktop. This was made for desktop. If you're still having problems it could before your file type. Make sure you have the iso files, are you running windows 10? It could be a few things that's giving you issues.

Your best option may be romsfun or romspedia but timing is always everything. Hundreds of games arent accessible anymore. A lot roms with the iso files and roms in general have been removed by the sony and other threatening to take legal action against websites, especially the ps4 roms.

You have to extract that file deeper. You extracted the file from zip and then extract that file again
