I like how the Detective got the court order first. She obviously was expecting a refusal.
Yea but as much as I love Law and Order, that scene was fake as hell. First, you cannot buy a gun in New Jersey without a Firearms Purchaser ID Card. Takes up to six months to get and is only valid to buy long guns. Secondly, you cannot purchase a handgun in New Jersey unless you have a valid Firearms Purchaser ID Card and a Permit to Purchase a Handgun. According to this episode, the suspect was a NY State resident purchasing in NJ. Ok? In order for a NY Resident to purchase a handgun in New Jersey, they must have a Firearms Purchaser ID Card and a Permit to Purchase, which they need to apply to the State Police since they are a nonresident. Once they do that it, if they REALLY want to go through all that BS, the handgun will still need to be shipped to a NY FFL (dealer) to complete the sale. Secondly, NY law enforcement are not typically going to walk into a NJ gun shop with a local county superior court signed court order without someone from either a local police department in NJ or the prosecutor's office present as the NY police have no jurisdiction in NJ and even though they legally can come into NJ to investigate a NY crime and question people, they cannot serve a court order.

Cross-overs on TV are always fun to watch. The thrill is seeing how 2 or 3 sets of characters you know working together in unexpected ways

@@BruteStrength99 Only long after he was cleared and she initially hooked up with him without realizing why she recognized him. She needed therapy because she was engaging in risk taking behavior after nearly dying. However, Stabler admitted he wanted to murder suspects in the same episodes and was released back to work. One of these was actually dangerous.
Yeah, the way they got rid of her and shoehorned Fin in was bizarre if you compare it to Law and Order.
I still remember when the episode of Law & Order athat Brisco was talking about when it first aired. It was a long day for Brisco and Logan. Four homicides in one day (Serial killer first victim. Man killed by crackhead. Lorena Bobbitt case. Serial killer suspect). It was not all dark. We all know Zelda.

That sure was one crazy episode!
It was 5. The man killed by the crackhead had also killed a store owner and when they came to arrest him, they found him dead. Crackhead killed him for his money and his drugs.

Michelle Herd was a good cop. They should of kept her. I hate the way that they got rid of her, I read that it is because it was the Showrunners wanted only one girl detective, Now they got several girl detectives on svu

I took it more like she was in shock. She had been sucking off a guy who had his head blown off. She saw the killer’s face. I’m sure she thought for a never ending second or two that she was next, til the guy walked off. Even then, I’m sure she thought “Is he just walking around the car to kill me from the other side?” Definitely at least a bit in shock.
I miss Munch, Kragen and Stabler.

If I remember right not only did they arrest the wrong guy but he was killed in prison right before he was to be let out.

The case of April Troost starts on episode "Design" from L&O SVU and gets solved later on episode "Flaw" of L&O, including the guest appearances of Elliot and Olivia. There are a few more crossovers but I remember that one specifically

I remember being confused by this episode bc at the end munch said it was still the mulroney girl but cragen gave up bc he almost lost his job going after the mulroney girl. What I didn't get was if munch thought it was her still how to explain the buddy holly glasses guy had done it before years ago. Unless the mulroney chick hired him & it was a coincidence he was the same guy who killed before. It seemed obvious while the girl was in jail they had the guy kill another guy to make it look like she did not do it. Bc if munch was saying she did it at the end then she did. Cragen walked away bc he already almost lost his job arresting her & they paid the guy off to take the fall although I dont know what good money is if u r gonna die life in prison for being a serial killer.

This felt more like a tv show than usual. All the enemble cast trading one liners, Took me waaay out of it.
People say Michelle Herd was a good female cop but let's be real here mariska hargitay was always the better female cop than her on the original team.

@@laurenralph5968 and she was definitely the most hardworking and dedicated and I totally understand why people love the main characters of the tv shows she is definitely the true original of the SVU team and she is one of the best protagonists on TV along with meredith grey from grey's anatomy and she is legit one of the sweetest and nicest detectives on the team and I honestly don't believe that she would say or do anything to intentionally hurt someone

There’s a funny movie called Adventures in Babysitting. He is the guy who played Thor. To this day.. I always laugh when I see him on SVU and then became the kingpin in Hell’s Kitchen. I think in the Daredevil series.
I never liked SVU. The writing and the way the cops acted was very left wing and judgmental. I noticed it when I was in my early 20s. But now I'm older it is so blatant.
