Hey ya’ll👋🏾 I hope you’ll find this Wash Day Video helpful!❤️❤️ Healthy hair growth is more about what you are DOING to your hair than it is about what you are USING on your hair. Therefore, I intentionally chose not to mention any product brands and to focus solely on healthy haircare techniques. It is MOST important to have the techniques and understanding of haircare down FIRST before stressing over which products to use. I always suggest that you just start with SOMETHING of each product type (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) because your hair can still thrive and grow while you are in the search of products that work best for you so long as you already have a habit of handling your hair with care no matter what product you use. One bad product or product experience should not stop (or erase) your overall progress towards healthy hair/growth. Simply swap out the products you don’t like, keep the ones you do like, and keep going. It is a journey! ENJOY❤️
🌹 I can't believe, how your hair grew so much! 😱 😍 then u take your time, with showing your skills and tips on how you restore your hair essence to the world. you is such a gifted child of god. 🌹 may the lord continue to straighten and guide you on your journey. 😘 🌹 💝
😄 thank you!!💕💕💕 I was kind of shocked myself when seeing the detangling clips lol it’s crazy how our hair grows🌱 and thank you so much for your blessings! God bless you too❤️
I just wanna day thank you for putting such a nice, thorough video together to teach us sistas how to take care of our hair n a SIMPLISTIC and practical way. I hate to see us give up on our natural when it could all be so simple. This video needs to be shown in health classes lol
Wow you done helped me so much because I be detangling while I'm shampooing smh! and I've always wondered why I would have SO much shredded hair! Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm about to wash my hair now and use your method.
I just hate that my hair gets puffy after I wash it and it’s all tangled and I can’t do much with it but put it in a ponytail. Definitely gonna follow this routine from now on!
Yeah! It can be hard to style ones it’s fully air dried and shrunk back up, hopefully air drying it in braided sections will be helpful for you too ❤️🥰
T Richardson so section your hair into 5 sections, make sure you have a separate section for ur crown, maybe you need to handle it differently from the rest of your hair. And make sure your sealing in the moisture in ur crown. If that doesn’t work go check ur zinc and iron levels... that could be the cause of the breakage
I have my hair in a protective style and after watching this tutorial, I cannot wait to wash my hair!! The right way! I love that you focus on healthy hair! Thanks for this video!!
Awww 😁 yes!! You’re so welcome, I hope the process will be a breeze❤️ I have a post-protective style video that may help more specifically with that too and will hopefully make the process even easier. I put the link here: ua-cam.com/video/WaTvijFGtj0/v-deo.html
Thank you for sharing your wash day routine and your hair growth journey love the spiritual videos as well Queen! Very Inspirational and motivational!:)
Why am I just not finding this video 2 years later? I love this video. It was very informative and through. I definitely will be trying this method on wash day. Do you have an updated wash day routine btw?
Hello!! I am a new subbie! I love the idea of detangling after you apply conditioner AND braiding your hair after rinsing out deep conditioner. I love your channel already!
Thats my biggest problem when it comes to wash day. I should probably start detangling while I'm in the shower instead of waiting until I'm out of the shower.
Sometimes. I use the rinse out conditioner to detangle but if my deep conditioner works well to detangle with also, then I just go straight to the deep conditioning
New subbie! Transitioning perm hair to natural and I’m 2 months in with protective style after protective style. Your videos, just 2 videos in!, are extremely informative. Question: where did you get your brush?
I wish I could just run the water to my hair and start washing it I would have took all of my hair out, lol my eyes have to detangle my hair first😥😥😥.. ps I love the video
😂😂😂 nunu said that same exact thing lol so I made her try it to show her that she would be able to do it on her hair too hahaha just need a lot of conditioner when it’s time to detangle lol, thank you!! ❤️❤️
interesting.. for me if i detangle on wet hair, i also get a lot of breakage. thats why i stopped using brushes in the past, but now i always detangle after washing when my hair is damp with an leave in
I had weak ends and i cut them all off. My hair type is 4C and i want to know the best way to help me grow my hair about 4 inches at the end of the year. Can you please help me out
Oh no! 😬 Lol it’s good you’ve been able to catch it though, we all go through that phase at some point in the journey until we realize what we’ve been doing lol
I don’t prepoo currently, but I used to. I did before each wash. I don’t use any particular shampoos, I just grab whichever is on hand (sometimes it’s a moisturizing, sometimes it’s a clarifying).
Not sure how I missed this video. Please do a video on your hair being fine and special considerations for fine hair. I need all the help I can get!❤️ Thanks dear
Lol I’ll consider it! ☺️ I have fine hair but I honestly haven’t figured out how to get around the struggles of it, other than just accepting the fine (thinness) lol what do you find probs w/ when it comes to your fine hair?
Hey dear...I watched the video so I could get the names of the product u used for each step...☹ but u skipped their names, pls I need the names of the products u used for your wash day...thnks
Dang, I’m still not that knowledgeable on shampoos so I can’t really recommend much lol all I can say is that my favorite shampoo (that I’ve tried so far) is revlon realistic shampoo. I wish I could give a more helpful recommendation ! A few others that I’ve used and know do well at cleaning are as I am dry and itchy scalp shampoo and curls Cashmere and Caviar shampoo.
When you edit the video in creator studio (on the computer, not phone) I think it’s a tab called “end screen” or something like that. On that tab, it lets you post video thumbnails to the last 20 sec of video.
My biggest issue is that im transitioning and I know that I'm suppose to detangle from ends to roots but my ends aren't very thick so when I use a wide-tooth comb I feel like it's not detangling the ends well. Any solution?
It’s best to let it air dry as far as maintaining max health (blow drying can increase dryness/drying out, split ends, and altered curl pattern/Frizz cause of the heat). So, if you can air dry, I would suggest towards that.
Hey 2022 growth crew! The next video, “Dust TRIMMING Natural Hair to Retain Lenght” will uploaded Saturday, January 13.
Update !!! I wasted my hair using this video to help me thank you so much
you’re a life saver girl 😩😩

Its insane how easily your hair detangles.
😭 it has its days still... where I feel like I might pass out from standing in the shower for so long trying to detangle it! Lol
It was very helpful hun!! I juat want to watch the 4 step regimen

@@TyJalayahRobertson your welcome
Washing 1x a week dried mine out and it became nappy and unmanageable. Every 2 weeks my hair is cool and stays moisturized.
Great detailed tutorial. Great tips

You’ve got to get you a Felicia leatherwood brush! (If you don’t have one yet)
Lol I really do!! I have been stalling, when I tried to get one a while ago it was out of stock so I haven’t tried since but I will get one!
@@TyJalayahRobertson you'll love it! I would love to see your review on it once you get one if you ever get a chance!
do you condition your hair then deep condition?
Sometimes. I use the rinse out conditioner to detangle but if my deep conditioner works well to detangle with also, then I just go straight to the deep conditioning
Ur so pretty! And also is it normal for your hair to feel thin after detangling? And can u keep the four braids in overnight
Not like thin but yk what I mean lol
lindo cabelo! ! logo logo o meu estará assim :() ♥♥♥
Obrigado!❤️
New subbie❤️🤘🏾 I love this tutorial. My hair is long, full and EXTREMELY Thick 4A. Found you on IG and i love the braids you do 💜
Awww thank you so much!!😄💕
New subbie! Transitioning perm hair to natural and I’m 2 months in with protective style after protective style. Your videos, just 2 videos in!, are extremely informative. Question: where did you get your brush?
do you still detangle with the rinse out conditioner after you already detangled from rinsing out the extra virgin olive oil used for pre-poo?
So after you seal in you oils do you blow dry your hair? And do protective styles, or do you style on wet hair.
Great tips! What is the name of that brush you are using to detangle and where did you purchase it?
Katrina Powell Thank you! 😁 it’s a Tangle Teezer, I got it from Sally’s
Ty'Jalayah Robertson Thank you so much! I need that 🙌🏾😊
New subbie 💜
Thank you!😄
The only question that I have is, did you dothe same thing for the deep conditioner as you did the wash out conditioner?
For the deep condition, I apply it, let it sit for the specified time and then rinse out (same way I rinsed out the rinse-out conditioner)
Do you also use cold water while deep conditioning
I only use cool water to rinse deep conditioner out
Once again very informative video, I need to get back to deep conditioning every wash day. Thanks for the great tips, your hair is beautiful!!!!!💖
how long do you leave your deep conditioner on for?
Is there a reason you stopped pre pooing?
To shorten my wash days
I wish I could just run the water to my hair and start washing it I would have took all of my hair out, lol my eyes have to detangle my hair first😥😥😥.. ps I love the video

Keren Kate Osabu-Quaye she just did. Watch the video again and be consistent.
@@ElegantPaws01 saw it, thanks
rinsing with cool water before deep conditioning is not really doing something good
The amount of breakage I realize I've caused to my hair😬
Oh no! 😬 Lol it’s good you’ve been able to catch it though, we all go through that phase at some point in the journey until we realize what we’ve been doing lol
How often do you prepping, shampoo with moisturizing shampoo, and shampoo with clarifying shampoo?
I don’t prepoo currently, but I used to. I did before each wash. I don’t use any particular shampoos, I just grab whichever is on hand (sometimes it’s a moisturizing, sometimes it’s a clarifying).
Random: How did you get such a perfect part with your fingers??
😂 honestly, it’s cause I always part my hair down the middle and I need to find a different way 🙈😩

Lol I’ll consider it! ☺️ I have fine hair but I honestly haven’t figured out how to get around the struggles of it, other than just accepting the fine (thinness) lol what do you find probs w/ when it comes to your fine hair?
What kind of conditioner did you use. It looks like it has a lot of slip.
V05 conditioner
Hey Ty’jalayah! Do you still continue your 4 step regime process ?
Hi! And no, I may revisit it every once in a while though but not often.
How much time do u recommend for us to let the conditioner sit
Hey dear...I watched the video so I could get the names of the product u used for each step...☹ but u skipped their names, pls I need the names of the products u used for your wash day...thnks

😍👌🏾 what are some great clarifying shampoos you recommend? 🤔
I like using aloe vera gel(spray) as a pre poo. It helps all poo's detangle better. DevaCurl is great tho!
Ty'Jalayah Robertson aah ok 👌🏾
What zinc do you recommend to take for our hair?
How often do u wash ur hair?
How did you post the 3 videos at the end? If anyone else knows the answer please let me know.
When you edit the video in creator studio (on the computer, not phone) I think it’s a tab called “end screen” or something like that. On that tab, it lets you post video thumbnails to the last 20 sec of video.
okay thank you!@@TyJalayahRobertson
My biggest issue is that im transitioning and I know that I'm suppose to detangle from ends to roots but my ends aren't very thick so when I use a wide-tooth comb I feel like it's not detangling the ends well. Any solution?
A detangling brush could help with detangling the ends.
Can I blow dry my hair after this or is it best to let it air dry
It’s best to let it air dry as far as maintaining max health (blow drying can increase dryness/drying out, split ends, and altered curl pattern/Frizz cause of the heat). So, if you can air dry, I would suggest towards that.
Try straightening your hair
