It is a personal preference but it’s best to learn and practice with different ways to do makeup. If no one ever told me different ways to do my makeup I would still have raccoon eyes and shitty foundation every day.

Hearing Shane talk about how people have been commenting on his foundations and being so judgemental, made me feel so bad for him. He sounded so insecure and genuinely sad. Let him do what he wants. He's learning. I know I didn't start off by having perfect make up. Wear what you want. It's a preference and an art. ❤
Yeah, but how else is he going to know if no one tells him that he is going a little heavy handed? I think Ryland put way too much concealer on, but again it is the first time he is doing it and I think that it is more helpful to give a suggestion than just letting your boy go out there without advice.

bronzing is adding warmth to the face, example, if your foundation is light you bronze it up to darken it. contour commonly has a cooler or "grey" hue to it because you are casting a shadow to emphasize a part of the face, so you can make your face look skinnier, etc. (i work at sephora)
