Lightning storm ahead of the (outdoor) performance temporarily shut-down the festival and for a little while, it looked like it might not happen, but the storm cleared just in time for Emmylou. Thank you for coming to hear! Early eighties…she was wonderful then. I’m glad you had a chance to see her!

Your wannabe attendee to the North was in seventh heaven for the past 3 minutes. Emmylou sings like nobody's business and she got all of this one. Thank you soooo much. xo
So glad you came to share Emmylou's song, Linda! The concert was this good all the way through and she played several of my very favorites! It was nearly called off before she took the stage due to nearby lightning strikes and bad thunderstorms but the skies parted and the sun came out and she was able to start just a few minutes late! I'm really glad we were able to go. The music at the festival was fantastic and it made me so happy to see everyone getting along. There were many different kinds of folks coming together to celebrate the very diverse performers and their music and I saw no drama and heard no conflict. It was wonderful!
