My thought is with that hand, it almost doesn't matter where on the board or what the score is. The only factor is whether you are dealer or not. The only time it could possibly matter is if you are opponent and you are both three or fewer points from the end so you hold with the idea you need to peg out before the dealer.

Before I employed the following strategy, I averaged winning 50-52 percent of games. Now I win closer to 60 percent. Do not ever give up fives or tens to your opponents crib. Sometimes tens are unavoidable, but never give them two ten valued cards.

One good example is having 3 sevens and 3 eights or 3 fives and 3 tens, jacks, queens or kings and it's not your deal. You're going to e giving the dealer 2 points no matter what.

Lets say you're the opponent and count first but you and the dealer are within 5-7 points of the finish line. You're only hope of winning is the play. What are the best cards to keep when all you care about is the play? I'm think A, 2, 3 are keepers and any pair so you can try and trap the dealer into scoring a pair so you can score the triple. What about a 5? I'm think they're no good for the play unless you're the dealer. Any other suggestions when all that counts is the play?
