In a tough matchup against the NC Heartbreakers '12, the Cleveland Angels '12 fell short with a final score of 10 runs to 3. The game started off with both teams holding each other scoreless in the first inning. However, in the bottom of the first, the Heartbreakers came out swinging and scored an impressive 6 runs.
The Angels tried to rally back in the second inning but were unable to put any runs on the board. The Heartbreakers took advantage of this and added another 4 runs to their lead, making it a daunting 10-0 game.
In the third inning, Cleveland finally found their rhythm and managed to score their first run thanks to Reagan's single and Emma reaching on an error. They continued their offensive push in the fourth inning with Ava's single, Mila's triple that brought home one run, and Lillie's single that added another run.
Offensively for Cleveland, Ava went 1-for-2 with a single and reached on an error. Mila had an impressive performance going 1-for-2 with a triple. Shelby also contributed by going 1-for-2 with a single.
Despite their efforts, it was not enough for Cleveland as they fell short against a strong NC Heartbreakers team.
