Hi Anne as mentioned a comment previously, this stitch was one of the first one my mother taught me, and now l am doing your challenge and l am happy for. l am a little be behind but is ok with me. I love everything we have created. Thank you Anne, be happy, have fun, stay safe and keep creating.
I’ve just treated myself to a kit for a change, the Hellebore kit as seen on Hochanda, I couldn’t resist. Who knows. I may not be able to resist again next month....tut! This challenge is lovely but I have had to change tags. I started with small ones but I’m starting again with larger ones which I’m enjoying more. You look gorgeous on Hochanda, such glamorous hair!! Great to see your face again. I love blanket stitch so I’m looking forward to getting to this soon.
Another great idea! Friday is now my favorite day, and I’m not even participating. I just love seeing all the tags that everyone else makes. What a creative following your have!!
Good morning Anne, very nice! It looks like i may be able to do this one without too much difficulty haha. Thank you so much for this! Hope you have a wonderful day ❤️🌹
I think this was the first stitch I learned as a child and always loved it. Friday's are now my 'happy days'....I can't wait every week to see what the new tag will be. Thanks again Anne.
Pilot makes an erasable marker called Frixion... the ink disappears with heat, so I use my heat gun and it goes away in an instant! You could use a blow dryer or even a heater (I don't have either at my work, but I have a heater under my desk and it works to make the ink disappear). I love your series... I am enjoying the tag making and displaying them on my MemoryDex (Rolodex).
This really is an underutilized stitch. Even though it’s primary function is not used in your project, there may be some beginning stitchers who could benefit from seeing how to use it on the edge of a blanket. Just a thought.
Hi Anne I love this challenge 💕and I'm learning so much from it. I wondered if you could do anything to stop the high pitched mic blow out that sometimes happens. It gives me the nastiest headache. I'm still planning on watching just with the sound off and the CC on. Thanks again for the wonderful challenge!
Thank you. I've always wanted to learn the blanket stitch. You start on the left side b/c you're left handed, right? I'm a righty, so I'd start on the right, correct? I'm easily confused! TFS🤗
Thoroughly enjoying the tag challenges. Taking me away from my usual controlled way of working. Anne what type of needle do you use? I seem to have lots of different type of needles but never the right one. Please help
Anne, Thank you for teaching me another stitch! I am really appreciating these lessons and you are an excellent teacher. TFS
I’ve always used this stitch to bind the edge of something. This series is helping me look at the stitches more creatively. Thank you. ❤️
What a creative and different way to use blanket stitch. Can’t wait to try it. 😍
Thank you for doing this challenge....I am learning so much and pushing the boundaries!!
What a great way to use the blanket stitch. Makes a creative tag. Thank you.
Love the blanket stitch in the middle of the fabric vs on the edge of a piece. The multiple stitch lines are very pretty !!
Thank you Anne, another great video.

I never thought to use a blanket stitch anywhere beside the edge of fabric, look what I've missed.
I was thinking the same thing!

Blanket stitch is really out of my comfort zone, don’t know why, so this has really forced me to do it!
