Mitosis

A personal animation project on mitosis: a mechanism that creates two identical daughter cells from a single parent cell.
In this version I tried to focus on the detail of some of the key stages of mitosis: interphase, prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. I also incorporated a soundtrack to time the sequence and elevate this beautiful process.
The clips were rendered in Cinema 4D with Redshift render, then polished up the scene in Adobe After Effects. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did creating it!
