When it comes to the 4 bucket wash method and wrapping uncle Benji has all the professional certificates. I thought he would have made an appearance🤔 what is impressive is doris getting stuck in and being hands on with the car💪🏿
Great video Lee ! Cadwell is just up the road from me, and it is a challenging circuit, narrow too, but a fantastic place isn't it. I have every sympathy, as I wrote my M140i off in November last year, it is gutting, but true petrolheads like us don't let things get us down, we carry on enjoying our hobby. Great to see you rebuilding, and I wish you all the best.
yeah i loved this video. I've got a GR Yaris as well and it took me a whole day just to replace 1 front arch so i understand how long this would have took. you've done a good job!!!
Well done Lee!!! Was gutted to see you crash the Yaris at Cadwell. So glad that you've had the financial resource, and MATES to help you rebuild! Car looks f'king awesome in the Satin Grey wrap! Definitely the right way to go, rather than repainting. And I think you have added some rather nice mods in the rebuild. Well done to Toyota for making so many replacement bits "bolt off" rather than welded on.... Not so good Toyota on the cost of some of the replacement bits...... Reckon they are trying to recoup some of the original development costs of the GR Yaris....😱😱😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 Anyway, great video. Thanks for sharing your journey so honestly. I think you’re missing a trick by not posting on Evil GT. Personally. So much love for that channel. Consider it a an evolution of the journey. And your fan-base is already there. Please consider this… And it might provoke Ben into doing a bit of extra UA-cam graft.
Nice work. Although I'd spend the extra getting satin ppf over the top of the wrap to protect it. Plus then I'd get two layers of Gtechiq Halo V2 ceramic coating over the ppf to make cleaning a breeze, plus it also prevents water spots and bugs from damaging the ppf as the bug acid will burn the ppf and etch. I probably would have got the 3 stage paint done underneath just incase the wrap/ ppf was to come off. What's it like with the Olïns?
@evilgtlee I'm also thinking about getting PS Cup2s for my GR, although I'm told they are not good in the wet- understandably. Superior in the dry if you want a road going track tyre. I like your Öhlin set up, all weighted and balanced, maybe some String theory spacers and a HKS exhaust, maybe a GPF delete too 🤔

Your best video yet - yes I miss benji however the “pacing” of the story is spot on - it’s not overly bloated / filled - it’s informative and more entertaining then usual-this would have been broken down into three or more videos previously which personally I find too slow
Thought you might of put an aftermarket exhaust on whilst the GR was in bits? Good colour choice as the new gen 2 model can be ordered in grey. Those Cobra seats look a bit snug but assume you will trailer it to the track? Hope you keep doing doing videos.
