At 63 yrs of age l look back at my life, the years of abuse, single parenting, homelessness, tribulations, persecutions and discriminations at the hands of individuals, organisations and institutions and see how impossible it is for one woman to have overcome so much were it not for the Lords' unseen angels, armies in chariots of fire, His grace and His Atonement.
How can 'thank you' ever be enough?
I am confident that God knows of all your thank yous! We love your goodness and faithfulness.
Rose, your continued faithfulness and staying close to the Lord is the biggest thank you that you can give 💗. Then you can give Him the hugest hug the world when you see the Lord again 🙂

At the time he was doing it, Mormon didn’t realize the magnitude of his mission. You likewise are not understanding the impact your work here is having in the world, Profound impact in the lives of millions in this time of willful rebellion.
Time will bear these things out, we are appreciating your teaching it now.

From personal experience with paying the wage of Satan I almost lost my very life. I thank Heavenly Father every day for every breath that I get to redeem myself. I thank him for that voice that told me to pray and that I did. It was a slow process but I did make it back and farther than I have ever thought possible. I'm indebted to my Granddad who had faith in me before he passed before when I told him I was never going to make it and he told me that I was . Before I had gotten my endowment my Grammy told me that she had put my name in the temple every week. I'm also grateful for you two in helping me study. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm always emotional when I come to this part of the Book of Mormon, and this lesson made me even more so, because of how much the Lord was willing to bless them and they threw those blessings away. It also makes me think of us and how we do the same. At a time in the world when we should be growing closer to the Savior than we ever have before, so many of us are steeped in the things of Babylon and are stepping further away from Him. Every day all day, I constantly plead with the Lord to hold me close and never let me go, and He does, even when I'm feeling so weak. At those times I feel infinitely blessed.

Yes, I love how Tyler is quoting Moroni 9:25! For some reason that scripture keeps popping up in my mind, I bet my friends around me are getting tired of me bringing it up, but it helps me deal with COVID, to not feel despair because of my surroundings, but to be buoyed & look upward to Christ!

This struck so deep for me. It really hit home as I was driving at 3 am this morning at work. I was in tears thinking of how Mormon felt and realizing it’s an invitation to us as well from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

How do you keep getting better and better every week! As many times as I have been through the Book of Mormon, you are teaching me things that I’ve never noticed before. I have a love and connection to Mormon that I’ve never experienced before. As you teach me about the fact that he had a family, a wife and support-it has made him so real. I love him so much for all he had to do to bring the Book to us today. Not the least of which was to raise his son. Moroni to do what he did! Thank you for all you do!

We find Book of Mormon Central a wonderful study aid. I can't imagine Sundays without it. I have learnt so much since we started studying with it and find the Gospel is so exciting and although I have read and accepgted it many years ago and tried to study it before nothing has been as good as this. Like you I have often read the Book of Mormon hoping for a better end. These chapters are very sad. But I remind myself as we are faithful the Lord will fight our battles for us as President Nelson said and I believe there are more with us than against us. Thanks for your heartfelt lessons.

Yes l do find this part of the Book of Mormon so difficult to read . So sorrowful. So glad Mormon spared details. To be honest sometimes I skip these chapters for l find it too difficult to read. Thankyou so much for explaining these chapters and what we can gain from them. Super job. God bless. 🙏

I also have seen a Temple theme going on in these chapters.
The Lord asks "what is wanted"? and the brother of Jared answers that wants light - light and knowledge by conversing with the Lord through the cloud (veil).
And after he goes up a high mountain (Temple) and after he moltens ore, he sees the finger (or hand) of the Lord through the cloud/veil and is admitted into His presence as he witnesses the Lord's body. Love this so much!

When I think where our societies are in this cycle, it's pretty scary. We are watching the spiral downward... The difference is we know Christ is coming, soon, and if we stay close to the gospel, won't be completely destroyed. But we are watching the destruction of the family, society, because of so many people abandoning God, and humble religion

I loved how you referred to the Title of Liberty and talked about how they had lost everything that gives meaning to life except for their wives and children. But they were also taken from them according to Mormon 4:14, 21. They truly lost everything!

I don't know of a more relevant lesson in all we've seen so far this year. There are many of us who feel we are surrounded on all sides and that forces of evil seem to be present everywhere and take charge of everything. We would do well to remember the counsel of Elisha the prophet: "They that be with us are more than they that be with them."

Our ward discussed Moroni 1-6 today. The instructor spoke about hw destructive war is to mankind when it is used for the wrong/unrighteous purposes, as I listened I thought about the one time when war was used by the Nephites for a righteous purpose and that example was the Title of Liberty in Alma 46; 12 Which Tyler included here in this lesson. although I strongly felt the Spirit little did I know how right I was when it is good to defend our God, religion, peace, wives & families and our homes.

Thank you for thoughtfully and carefully laying out the similarities of Mormon learning his mission in an unfolding pattern line upon line, precept upon precept. That he pushed forward on the path as we all do, not perfectly, with perfect knowledge and understanding of who we are and what the Lord wants us to accomplish in His work, but merely with Faith, a lot of humble repentance, trusting the Holy Ghost as our guide, and often enduring incredible opposition in hope of a Grace filled promised end. I saw your subtle connection to the similar unfolding of Joseph Smith’s life and mission. Many contend bc he didn’t keep a perfect recollection of his unfolding history, that he says “about” or upon later more spiritually mature reflection, interpreted his communications with God differently, that this shows he “clearly” manufactured this restoration “narrative.”
On the contrary! It shows the natural human nature of us all and the power God’s Grace has to use us as instruments in His hands despite human weaknesses!It strengthens my heart to know like Mormon, Joseph Smith, and many other earthbound mortals with veiled perspectives, I don’t have to know all things perfectly, but can learn, even stumble along my Covenant path “not knowing beforehand the things I should do”, but Grace for God given Grace, have my mission unfold so long as I stay on the path, even when the world around me is declining rapidly and is trying to discredit my faith and pull me off the path!
