I grew up here in the fifties. It's great that so much is unchanged. But so many cars! There were very few in my day, and it was so much nicer. Pity they destroyed the railway.
Thank you for the comment. The suburbs have its own history and reality, it may be less eye catching than the central London at first glance, but always interesting to explore (or just wander).
Worked out of a business on the roundabout in the late 80's early 90's.... back then that estate agents next to the Ladbrokes was " Muswell Hill Piano's " owned by Ed and Paula O,Brien , two of the finest people you could possibly meet and along with all the other staff you couldnt wish for a better work place.. many happy memories :-)
