Just separate yourself into the depressed you, and the "you" you want to become. That way you can separate your old, toxic behaviors from your new, hopefully helpful ones. I'm just trying to share what worked for me :) Don't feel afraid to reach out to your support network (even an online one) and don't stop trying!
