I don't remember if it was you who did the video on it, but did you delete the video of you building the "Les Paul Custom" on a budget from Bocchi the rock? I was really interested in building one, but I can't find the video to see the parts!
I've lived in Sacramento for a decade and only learned a few months ago that there was a world class electric guitar builder twenty minutes from my house. I would love to get my hands on a Kauer one day.
As soon as I saw the notification for this I was curious if you got the chance to check out Halon as a fellow offset fan, so was happy to see them in the video ^^ Hadn't seen them pop up in any other NAMM videos, though I don't keep that close an eye on guitar UA-cam at large anyway. For me living in Europe they've become the de facto replacement for Mastery for me since they're cheaper here and an easy retrofit on more setups, while having similar merits. Am curious if you had any strong impressions of their stuff!
I was so stoked to see Halon there! Unfortunately for me, I didn’t see an offset demo guitar out with their bridge nor their vibrato so I didn’t get to try anything out (I was there kind of early so there may have been one later). Definitely still curious to try out some of their stuff since I’ve heard such great things!
Always nice to see woman playing guitar, even MORE wonderful is that you're tech oriented. How did that start for you? I have two regrets, (1) I never mentioned in the personals that I wanted to meet someone who played guitar or bass, (2) that I wanted to meet someone who played guitar or bass, and was into Cosplay at comic conventions. *sigh
It was great to see this video get published. This is solid advice for NAMM first-timers as it so tiring on your feet, throat, and ears! Been waiting for this video! I was in line after you to try the OBNE pedals, but that Black Bobbin guitar was a treat. I've played some expensive guitars in the past, but as soon as I picked that up, my head fell off. 🤯 I couldn't believe how easy it was to play, how good it sounded, and the way it felt more natural than any other guitar I've ever played.
No way!! Sorry I took so long at their board! I feel the exact same way about the Phantone, honestly it’s the first guitar I’ve played in a long time where my mind didn’t immediately start making a list of mods haha. So glad you got to try it as well!
I honestly had no idea that the Arare was largely inspired by the Timmy, even though I've been following KGR for a couple of years, now. That just makes me want one even more, despite the fact that they are pretty pricey. I'm not a rabid worshiper of the Timmy, but I do recognize that it's a great pedal. But, I already thought the Arare sounded great.
Greetings from Scotland. Loved the sounds you got from the OBN Screen Violence. Definitely some Killing Joke/Dinosaur Junior tones, which is always a good thing. Quick question; the music that starts at 1:42, where did you learn those 'dissonant' single note runs? They are really fantastic and I'd love to know how you came up with them. Thanks in advance. That pedal is so cool and feels like pure inspiration to play! So for parts like that, it’s all based around an arpeggiated major seventh chord that jumps around between a couple octaves. I grew up listening to a lot of Dance Gavin Dance and their guitarist Will Swan does a similar kind of thing that really inspired a lot of my playing. Hope this helps!

Did you get a chance to check out Halon's new trem? Keep debating on getting one but not many people seem to have any experience with them.
Unfortunately I didn’t since I didn’t see it mounted on any of the guitars at the booth. Definitely want to hear more about it as well!
