Darden is anyday much better than Fuqua. This is from a person who passed out of Darden Business in 2021.

The real question is should you risk not getting a good scholarship and apply early action

Your best chance of receiving a scholarship from a school is to apply as early as possible. Applying to UVA Darden in its Early Action round, for example, will offer you the best chance of a scholarship from them. UVA Darden is a competitive school, however, and so you may be more likely to earn a scholarship from an MBA program that is less competitive. Therefore, would you rather gain admission to a top school but not receive any money from them? Or would you rather attend a lower ranked school but be given a scholarship? You will have to determine which is the best option for you!

I would like to know how do you navigate their early action rounds!

Applying in the "Early Action" round is the most effective way to illustrate to a school like Fuqua or Darden that the school is your top choice, which will give you a slight advantage over applicants who apply in later rounds. Fuqua's Early Action is binding, and Darden has a binding option, which means that if you are admitted, you must withdraw your applications submitted to all other schools. If you are very interested in one of these schools, then selecting the binding option makes sense, especially if you feel that Fuqua or Darden may be a "reach" for you. Hope this helps!
