A line of badass men who have seen more than any man ever should, and accomplished more than most could ever dream. You will always have at least one supporter as long as I draw breath. God bless these men who stared death in the face, and spat on him.

How blessed we are!! And there, everyone - is our most precious thing - the thing that makes the US strong! Our MoH recipients are our heroes, the heroes our other heroes look up to. They put others first, they stepped up at a critical time - without any orders - they did the necessary and usually fatal thing that had to be done. These did it and are still alive, their medal shines and others look to it - and them to know what to do. A shining example of what it is to be an American military hero. So many of them - we are blessed!

It wasn't just Marines. Most of the escorts were from the Army, and a few from the Navy. My guess is that each recipient was escorted by an active-duty member of the branch in which they served.

Also nice freedom, freedom to live (or lets rather say DIE) without health ensurance, to get shot by some idiot or the police during a traffic control if you happen to grab your wallet to pull out your license, to eat all kinds of foods with a guarantee to have shitloads of sugar in it and lets not forget the freedom to choose if you want to tip or not at the restaurant, oh no wait, you don't have that one.

Quick fact about honoring The Congressional Medal of Honor... No matter the rank of the recipient, and if a person of any military rank or grade approaches the MOH, they MUST render a salute and wait for the MOH recipient to return said salute. That's rather either of the persons are in uniform or not. That is how highly prestigious the MOH is!

WHY IS IT THAT U.S.ARMY AND OTHER BRANCHES DO NOT UNCOVER UPON ENTRANCE INTO ANY BUILDING.
AND YET WE ARE TAUGHT FROM DAY ONE IN THE U.S.NAVY AND THE U.S.MARINE CORP. TO UNCOVER.
THE QUESTION IS NOT MEANT TO PROVOKE.

Peter Adams, as far as I'm concerned you don't have the brains God gave a mentally challenged flea...and deserve even less respect. But if you were to make that statement to the face of any of these men, they would probably reply in a quiet voice, with a chuckle, "No, it didn't happen quite like that, but you're right. I'm not a hero." They'd say that because it's that's the kind of thing true heros ALWAYS say about themselves.
