A line of badass men who have seen more than any man ever should, and accomplished more than most could ever dream. You will always have at least one supporter as long as I draw breath. God bless these men who stared death in the face, and spat on him.
Tears in my eyes seeing the best of the best.
this is what bad to the bone heroes look like, my country and myself thank you each and every one for your service
Wow, it would be a privilege to be able to breathe the same air as that room of men.
I am in absolute awe of these men.
The gates of heaven will swing wide for each one of these men come the time.God bless each and every one of them and families
Much respect to you gentlemen ................
That is why we stand . that is why we are free . Great video . Every man there is a hero thank you for your service
Show this video to the women's soccer team (those that didn't stand) and Colin Kaepernick
How blessed we are!! And there, everyone - is our most precious thing - the thing that makes the US strong! Our MoH recipients are our heroes, the heroes our other heroes look up to. They put others first, they stepped up at a critical time - without any orders - they did the necessary and usually fatal thing that had to be done. These did it and are still alive, their medal shines and others look to it - and them to know what to do. A shining example of what it is to be an American military hero. So many of them - we are blessed!
Thank you Sammy and John and all the other Medal of honor recipients
Wow, I had no idea, that many! Thank you for your service! ❤️🇺🇸
What an AMAZING group!
My salute to all the MOH recipients and my congratulations to the Marines that showed up in their dress blues for the occasion.
It wasn't just Marines. Most of the escorts were from the Army, and a few from the Navy. My guess is that each recipient was escorted by an active-duty member of the branch in which they served.
God bless them all along with their families....great heros and true angels among us.
Woody Williams looking spry as ever. Iwo Jima was only 73 years ago. He's the last living WW2 Marine MOH recipient.
Help us out here Chris, How many of these men do you recognize and which one is which.
@@nudist0885 Hershel “Woody” Williams was at 1:36. Had the honor & privilege of meeting him several years ago. “Doc” Ballard & Melvin Norris along with Leroy Petry were there as well.
A room full of Heroes
Jacob Gestetner and every single one of them will insist until the day they leave this world that they are not heroes.
thank you for your service brothers and sisters.
Honest real men. Respect
Damn! The hero's, not in their minds I'm sure - but in mine. USN, 8300, 30 and out, 🎱. Absolutely in awe.
you can feel the steadfast steely resolve coming off these gents. must have been an epic luncheon!
The CMH those that have it bestowed upon them have done something so great that others may live or fought so hard that the enemy feared them more than death itself in some cases.
...wow .great video. these soldiers being finally recognized for their actions in combat with our country's greatest medal for their service,. agree Jacob G' this gathering of MOH recepients is truly a room full of hero's. These hero's are the absolute reason why we can live free in the USA....
Lol you are a funny guy, when was the last armed conflict on american soil ?
Must have been over 100 years ago, but yeah more freedom bruh!
Also nice freedom, freedom to live (or lets rather say DIE) without health ensurance, to get shot by some idiot or the police during a traffic control if you happen to grab your wallet to pull out your license, to eat all kinds of foods with a guarantee to have shitloads of sugar in it and lets not forget the freedom to choose if you want to tip or not at the restaurant, oh no wait, you don't have that one.
@@ColdGhost01 Yeah! Fuck the WWII veterans brining freedom to countless countries and stopping the nazis and japanese oppression. Fuck Korean War vets for saving South Korea. Fuck Vietnam War vets for being forced to fight a war most didnt want. Fuck all veterans. Oh, wait. Your an asshole. Can you not see most of these men kept Amerixa free, along with many other countries. But WHO CARES.
Mesmerizing for sure they are humble straight forward people who wear their award for those who didn't make it home.
They Will tell you. "It's not mine.
But I wear it for those who fought with me. I am only the recipient of this."
I've bought a few CMH drinks a while ago. Semper Fi. Thank You for your Service !
Every single one of these gentlemen deserve more then we could ever return, for what they did for god and country. I salute and will take my hat off as every should anytime i am in their presence. Salute and thank you to all the men and woman who fight and have fought for our country.
Thank you
What a honor to escort the heroes and bravest of men
THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL THING TO BEHOLD.
God Bless to all who served
1 word Respect
Our equivalent, the Victoria Cross in Australia has very few left. 3 or 4 medals won in Vietnam, and only a couple won in Afghanistan. Pretty sure that’s all we have left. You guys are lucky to have all these heroes to treasure.
Ordinary people in extraordinary situations.
Not one of them would call themselves a hero.
Which is why they are a hero.
The MOH scene in NCIS always brings a lump to my throat....
You mean this one: ua-cam.com/video/Or5wIJ5eQCg/v-deo.html? ^_^ Love that one too. :-)
Those are the Heroes
LEGENDS
bravemen, hope they dont have to pay taxes anymore for the rest of their lives, because they sure as hell did their bit for the country!.
These are real American heroes those guys playing sports couldn’t hold thier jock strap…
wow true American hero thks 🇺🇸
That had to be a fun bus ride to that event. Well done Heroes! How many do you think had a snort before the show? Nothing wrong at all in my mind with that. The conversation: I liked it better when everyone wasn't always trying to take my picture.
That’s pretty cool
The balls of life.. good God
So many bad asses.
yes your suppose to remove you hat when in side but i don't know what the rules are as far as the cav hats are
Hero's one and all HooAhh well done troop!! SGT (ret) 19E
Thank you for your service.
A room full of men that stood tall in Hell! Thank you all!
Wow!
Where’s Clarence Sasser?
serious sets of balls , walking in that room.
Amazing, these men and women, went above and beyond the call of duty, to keep the USA free, and save their comrades, and here they just look like ordinary citizens, BUT, THEY GAVE MORE THAN WE CAN IMAGINE WHILE IN HELL, FIGHTING FOR ALL OF US!
There aren't enough words to thank you for your many years of service and all the other young men and women who gave their all for US!
There has been one female recipient, who received the Medal for service as a civilian doctor during the Civil War. It was later revoked, but finally restored.
Salute*
REAL LIVE BAD AZZ!!!!
I don't impress easy but wow luv uall🇺🇸
Talk about a room full of experiences.
Are the Cav guys under arms? I can't see so much as a knife, much less their ceremonial swords. I know they didn't screw up, so what am I missing?
I counted 35 Medal of Honor recipients.
I counted 39.
Gathering of steel balls
You know that guy in the blue jeans vest doesn't take that shit off for ANYBODY.
I hope they were served prime rib, lobster, Russian caviar, Champagne and the finest wines and spirits of their choice. They deserve anything they wish for the rest of their lives. What I wouldn't give to meet them and thank them.
Those who gave thumbs down are terrorists.
These men made a sacrifice for their brothers in harm's way that made them eligible for the right to be the recipient of the Metal of Honor.
God bless each one.
Freedom of speech means freedom to dissent, however unpopular that dissent might be.
What branch are those with the hats?
Army. They are Cavalry soldiers in Stetson hat
Army. Thats the cav
Alright, who the Frick disliked this video. You will burn in hell. I won't swear in the presence of these hero's as that would be dishonorable, but you make me want to.
Quick fact about honoring The Congressional Medal of Honor... No matter the rank of the recipient, and if a person of any military rank or grade approaches the MOH, they MUST render a salute and wait for the MOH recipient to return said salute. That's rather either of the persons are in uniform or not. That is how highly prestigious the MOH is!
Iowa Boy that’s not actual regulations so it isn’t required. It is an unspoken practice.
Drop the Congressional part. It is The Metal of Honor. Congress only approves of the awarding of said metal. 90% of congress are cowards anyways. There are some who served proudly.
Superior officers stand at attention, but do not salute...only subordinates salute.
We need a constitutional amendment that prohibits levying any tax on a MOH recipient as well as gives them an extra vote in all elections. They should also get double all VA benefits.
What about Kyle Carpenter
Excellent! But where’s Forest Gump? ;-)
The military actually has basic IQ test standards and that fictitious character would not have been allowed to serve in real life.
Is this the old white guy convention
RESPECTFULLY , I ASK THIS QUESTION.
WHY IS IT THAT U.S.ARMY AND OTHER BRANCHES DO NOT UNCOVER UPON ENTRANCE INTO ANY BUILDING.
AND YET WE ARE TAUGHT FROM DAY ONE IN THE U.S.NAVY AND THE U.S.MARINE CORP. TO UNCOVER.
THE QUESTION IS NOT MEANT TO PROVOKE.
JUST HAS ALWAYS INTRIGUED ME AS A FORMER SAILOR AND SHIPMATE.
The Army and the others except for Marines and Navy salute indoors also. Of, course, we don't unless we are under arms. Semper Fi!
Stand at attention boys.
Liberal here. Counting this. ...I got to about 3 before the tears started. A mess at 5 . This is unbelievable. Moving. Emotional. Pure. And each of them would say you should have seen the ones that did not survive. Our fading glory in the spilled blood of hero's/
Who didn't get one?? lol
Who are the slime balls that gave a thumbs down I wonder?
Respect but aren't you suppose to take your hat off inside?
James G maybe they were armed.
I believe it is a Cavalry thing.
What have YOU done for your country? Just look at those men and see if you have an answer
probably got medals for flying over a war zone.
Peter Adams, as far as I'm concerned you don't have the brains God gave a mentally challenged flea...and deserve even less respect. But if you were to make that statement to the face of any of these men, they would probably reply in a quiet voice, with a chuckle, "No, it didn't happen quite like that, but you're right. I'm not a hero." They'd say that because it's that's the kind of thing true heros ALWAYS say about themselves.
You've had all the attention you're going to get. And it's more than you deserve.
WRONG many of these men earned the medal for hand to hand combat...Ronald Rosser..Hiroshi Miyamura..Leroy Petry..Ryan Pitts..Richard Pittman ...just to name a few....
How about that. Not a kneeler to be seen anywhere. Guess they don't really matter, do they.
