If they’re aggressive, wait until their stamina is low to transition. Or you can also use your ground strikes to bait them into rushing a transition
If they wait and counter everything you do, use feints to build grapple meter.
In full guard u can feint the down getup, and in half guard u can feint the side transition to full guard

also if you're using a character with a looping straight you can double throw it by using guard R2/RT as a animation cancel/reset before you throw the second straight

I am so disappointed with how clunky this game feels.. the beta felt better than this rn, it’s a shame, every online game I have there’s like a whole second delay between all of my strikes like ufc 4, this game is better than ufc 4 only because of the damage system and submissions but other than that it’s still a clunky mess.

Bruh! Your tutorials will strengthen the UFC community and bring in new players like me. I had little interest in this game but i liked the gameplay and was sold when they got rid of the submission mini game. I saw a fight between you and Romero which you ended up getting KOd but you gave him a hell of a fight and looked like youd win. After that i was sold and i subbed. Great channel and hopefully ill get good enough someday to put up a decent fight against you.

Nice tutorials. Can you make a “Club & Sub” Tutorial? When you get the knockdown type that allows you to get into a finishing ground striking position, then access the submission attempt. The window is very small, and it was terrible in UFC 4 due to the mini game being so slow. Thank you!
Currently a glitch where people just hold you down and spammmm elbows and then try to submit you it’s super dumb went 12-0 yesterday then 0-10 next day all kids use the same meta
I always love the Jab it sets up everything even low kicks are called the Jab their own version I love to use range use my jab using straight rights everything has a range to it I make sure to learn that as well from bigger fighters to smaller Fighters you have to account for everybody

He says you have to use IQ. Sometimes it doesn't matter. The elbow spam is still there, the hook spam can be managed somewhat consistently. But the lead, rear, lead elbow is ridiculous. No strategy works consistently against it. Circle off, pivot, block, back up. There's nothing to counter. By the time you pull and try any punch the second elbow hits you then you may or may not block the 3rd. Then they just spam it until you block is gone, by this point you are against the cage so pivots don't even work consistently.

For that last combo, what is the purpose of using a slip when throwing the lead uppercut? Is it to counter a potential shot from opponent, or does it add damage to the uppercut?

I love the rear uppercut to the head, lead body hook, then rear hook to the head combo, I’ve used that since UFC 4. I noticed I was getting countered with an uppercut when I’d throw the lead body hook because I was using it to often, so now once I’ve thrown the lead body hook I’ll pull counter hook if they my opponent try’s to counter. Naz just a question on the last combo you done that ends with the overhand, is it necessary to do the slip hook?? Or does the combo work just as well without it?
