Having looked at countless videos on how to do needlepoint on my new Ehrman tapestry, yours is PERFECTION. You explain everything beautifully and the way you zoom in and out is excellent. So many videos don't zoom in and it's hard to see. Thank you so much for your thoroughness, it is much appreciated.
Good afternoon Ms. Wellesley, thank you so much for your videos that will help teach us to do needlepoint. I've always wanted to learn and now thanks to your videos, you have made it possible. I've subscribed to your website to keep following your videos. Have a wonderful day!
Great videos, well-made and easy to follow. Would love to see more on how to move around the canvas on a pattern with lots of small details and color changes. I struggle with how to do a few small stitches here and then a few more an inch or two away on the canvas. Thanks.
Thank you Ms.Wellesley your such a wonderful teacher ,Iam new at NP and you make it look so easy.I will be watching everyone of your videos. Great tip on keeping the color card thanks and I have to say I just love your little bunny needle holder it's darling I have to get one ! God bless and thank you 🙏💜
Good morning ☀️ Ms. Weellesley, thank you 🙏🏾 so much for your teaching and sharing your videos on how to needlepoint . I always want to learn it now because of your video, I can do this and not be intimidated by it. Again thanks so much for your teaching and sharing your beautiful way and easy way.
I just found this channel and love it. Thank you so much for having it. I'll tell all my friends and family who enjoy needle work. Yay I am just so happy.
Lovely instructions out of the many I have watched. No one seems to address determining the right and wrong “side”of the fiber used. There is the smooth side and ruff side. It seems to make a difference in whether the canvas surface is smooth or fuzzzy. Your thoughts.
While browsing, I found your website. I have subscribed and will follow your classes. I do embroidery but this looks so interesting -- thank you for sharing your videos..
Thank you so much! This was so thorough and clear! I can wait to start my project. I did go ahead and buy a kit fo rmy first one, its not painted and its words! God luck to me:0. Thank you again and happy stitching.
I'm a beginner; so I'm still searching for all the gadgets I need to start a project. I noticed you stand has a stone clamp, which is neat. Where can I find and buy that type of stand? I appreciate your kind assistance. I love your tutorial. I subscribed to your website.
Thank you for this great tutorial! I learned needlepoint as a kid and was surprised that it's being taught today to stitch right to left and not left to right. What is the reason for stitching a row right to left? Thank you.
Hello - thank you for this excellent tutorial. What craft stand are you using? - I see the clamp and that you can easily turn to the back of your work.
I see this post is is 2 years old I hope I can get some answers. I have cross stitched in the past and I'm now into doing miniatures and I was wondering what would work best for a miniature rug. I'm thinking the cross stitch floss but I like the needlepoint look how small can you go in needlepoint?
In response to leaphigh's comment: The stand is called a System 4 stand. This particular one is a table or lap stand but the clamp that is used can also be put onto their floor stand. The way you end and started the second strand will sometimes disturb the look of the stitches in the front. If it’s a background, this may look bad.
I forgot to add that they seem very simular. But I think I just had an airhead moment..lol
Why the waste knot? Why can't you just start stitching with the knot @ the end of your string?
