But I agree, the different elements used to create such interesting sounds is fascinating😊

Listening to side effects cleans my head from headaches it’s so calming to listen too. While the lyrics are so meaningful and amazing
I absolutely love Side Effects. Its a *piece of art*
Side Effects is THAT bitch. I wish there was more psytrance in kpop but I only Side Effects and Silent Night.
when i saw Moombahton, my mind went straight to Rumor
That song and Latata are the best Moobahton songs.
@@reshiramnick have you heard follow by monsta x?
Rumor is iconic tbh
TRUE HAHAHA

tbh t-ara started this edm trend i hope people would recorgnize them for that
YESSS
you seem to have no clue what you are talking about
What about f(x)???????
@tiana fairuz t-ara started it before f(x)
@@tommy_february6 doesnt mean t-ara did it first
apparently deep house and tropical house are in lots of my favorite songs. and there was no one left, our summer, why
edit: also trap
me, say my name, double knot, DUMB LITTY (kard uwu)
also SYNTHPOP!
platonic love, i feel you, oh my mistake
Psytrance songs kind of sound like geometry dash soundtracks
Yep that bass would equal 320 jumps with at least 12 portal things every 6 seconds :”)
RIGHT
And fancy
them : tropical house, bounce, trap
me: beach beat, disco stuff, intense shit
Kayana Ayunda them: “howdy, my name’s jar”
Me: hee haw music
Same lol
Deep House can be such a hit or miss for me but when I like a song from that genre i get obsessed with it, And There Was No One Left and Dejavu are prime examples
wow this was really helpful i had no idea about all of the different types of edm! i felt you did a really good job giving examples of each. do you know which one flash by x1 would be considered?
flash is a mix of future bass and electro house ~
@@KpopStuffs do you know what knock from produce 101 would come under? like that deep beat when they're singing?
sounds like future house to me. pretty rnb driven tho
@@KpopStuffs oh, and would lightsaber by exo fall in future house too?
dreamcatcher and stray kids should be an EDM sub-genre, change my mind
I find it funny how some stans say they don't like edm even though a lot of their fav kpop groups have songs that have edm in them. I also find it funny when they say that edm is "noise." Like, do they not know that noise music is for alternative rock and other genres similar to rock.
its funny how bboom bboom, wifi, and baan almost the same sound and beat HAHAHAHHAHA

Isn't Miroh by Stray Kids Future House?
@@laeminiscence yeah it is. Both belong to future bass but the difference between bounce and house is the kick drums. Its more future house because of the drums but its close to future bounce. Either way, amazing song 😍

Watching this just made me realize how amazing kpop is
True
Why everyone dont talk about moombahton?
People might think Dreamcatcher is all rock but they showcase a great variety of genres in their B sides!
The fact that I didn't know anytging about edm but knew all of this songs
(I started digging into edm after yesterday I watched Taeil(NCT)'s 24 hour relay - he played Overthinker and I loved the drop)
Need recommendations?
@@toniedie2297 sure :)
Try martin garrix ft bonn High On Life.
my personal opinion on how some of them should be arranged:
heat - moombahton/trap
playing with fire - midtempo/synthwave/trap
violeta - deep house
switch - deep house/tropical house
also not sure if dejavu is edm. feels more like pop. listen to woosung - face and charlie puth - attention
face and attention are also edm 🗿 virtually all current pop is edm.
@@KpopStuffs ok lol
i was thinking the same thing about heat and violeta
i'd say heat isn't trap. and I would almost put playing with fire in moombahton or EDM. Violeta is definitely future house.
I originally liked EDM and because of that, I started to like K-pop
Nitesode Same
This video literally fall in love with EDM even more than before.
i loved how stray kids tried future house with miroh are their any other future house kpop songs you know of?
EDM: *exists*
Stray kids: *It's free real estate*
okay but trap 👌 damn like wow
that moment when you know all these songs and so it’s literally impossible to pick a favorite genre
this video: exists
me: (furiously adding all of the songs to my playlist)
i’ve been watching your videos and as a classical musician who doesn’t know a huge amount of edm, i find these really helpful! i didn’t know that these specific collections of sounds/pattern of sounds (idk how to describe it, like, how the synths and drums are organised and layered to produce specific and unique sounds in music) had a genre/name! i’ve definitely been learning and educating myself with these videos, so i just wanted to say thank you! it definitely helps me to appreciate the songs more!
t-ara, queens of edm and every single genre
other groups: does edm
kpo stans: omg soty
stray kids: releases side effects
kpop stans: and we took it personally
Honestly nothing beats that song when it comes to successful experimentation...I hv never heard a song like that....some might come close(some tracks from dreamcatcher and some soloist I forgot the name) but still nothing beats that song for me....I was a stay since that era!
Me: sees A.C.E
Also me: cries in Choice
Same 😭
What happened?
God yes, they need more appreciation for introducing hard edm but I'm super glad at least savage was included
@@foofighter993 do you know what happened?
Nothing happened haha, they're just being silly cause ace is underrated and we all get happy whenever they get included in videos like this
It's nice being producer and seeing people actually doing research to the genres of Electronic Dance Music!
wow this is so educational! i just generally dig edm songs but i don't know its specific types i just pick whatever that sounds good to my ears lollllll
i really like your chance and your videos tho! they are super fun to watch!
kard: ✨edm legends✨
I've been saying!! this is what got me into them
True, but they're also tropical house trend legends. uwu
