Из за огромного расстояния продукты привозят самолетами. Также овощи и фрукты перевозят по магазинам специальных утепленных машинах. Потому цены высокие.

I can't imagine the thermal shock one might feel when going through a door from a temperature of -49°C to at least 20°C in the supermarket.
This supermarket is stocked with everything: meat, fish, pasta, dairy products, sausages etc...; surely they are all imported products due to the fact that it is practically impossible to cultivate the land due to the permafrost, but, it is surprising how these supermarkets in Yakutia are so abundantly stocked with food. This means that such an effort is not affected by Russian logistics even with sanctions.
The abundance of these supermarkets demonstrates the great Russian organization and high skills in supplying a harsh climatic area.
The cooked food section makes me think a lot about the external environment, seeing all those traditional and very good foods, it gives me a warm and welcoming feeling. 🤤😌
The sausage section is very rich in products with a very variable choice and the same goes for eggs and meat.
It is a discovery for me to know that Yakuts like to eat pasta. There is no shortage of sauces and the bread section which is a food that must be present in a person's diet, and fruit and vegetables, other foods that cannot be missing from the diet, there is plenty of it.
The prices of all these products are not exaggerated, considering that most of them are imported.
Marina, it doesn't matter if it's -50° in Yakutia because when I see those pelmeni made directly by those ladies, I'll commit the madness of coming to Yakutia to eat those pelmeni. Every time I see them, I almost go crazy with withdrawal. 🤯 🤣🤤🤤
The sight of the quantities of food in this supermarket greatly changes the beliefs that one may have about a place with a harsh climate like that of Yakutia, therefore, it makes you think again and entices and encourages a person to visit this place which proves to be anything but how hostile.
In the end, Marina, I thank you for making us aware of this social and commercial reality which will surely lead to the curiosity of many to visit this wonderful place.

Our diesel is 30% more expensive than your sunflower oil. I must try a few pies once i get there. Great selection some countries have very limited variety in their stores. I make an omelette with chopped cabbage and onion cheese on top finished under the grill and seasoned with salt, pepper and hoisin sauce.

Just yesterday paid $6.50 for 1 l. buttle of Sunflower oil in California in the local Russian store. Doctors sausage $9 for 450 gr, hard smoked sausage $18 for 450 gr, manka (farinna) $5 for 450 gr.
So expensive 🙈
