@@LyfUninterrupted we are planning to return to New England for a wedding and we need to visit Vermont and New Hampshire so we can add those states to our travel map. We are also hoping to get into Nova Scotia.
It is fun to look back on where you were last year. We did 21 states. You only get to count a state the first time you cross the line. I agree you can't officially count a state till you spent the night, but we have done all the lower 48 more than once and now just count crossing the line the first time. Some we were in multiple times like Pennsylvania 3 times and New Mexico 4 times last year. Did 11,620 miles in the coach and stayed in 51 campgrounds. You can count multiple stayes/as in each time you pay for a different stay. Our trip map was similar but we were more North. Did East cost West cost and Golf Cost.😁 Did you stop at Free Port and shop LL Bean.
Hi William. Sounds like a banner trip for sure. We didn’t make it to main LL Bean store in Freeport, but we did make it to the outlet store in Ellsworth.
You guys at the definition of full time RV TRAVELER. No point in doing this lifestyle if your not traveling and adventuring like you guys. Looks like you hit some awesome spots, but the falls are much better on the Canadian side, haha. We also got invaded by stink bugs in PA and VA, we are still finding live stink bugs in the rv months later. We only did 11 states and 3 Canadian provinces in our 2nd year full time, but did a lot of miles. Hope to hook up with you guys this summer as we explore the west for the first time. Larry
@@LyfUninterrupted Brian, my plan is 13 to 14 thousand this year. I have already since the 1st driven 2,000. I plan on going to Baja Mexico next then going up the west coast, across the top of the US then down the east coast and winter next year in Key West. Let's see on the plann goes. Don
@@LyfUninterrupted I drive about 200 miles A-day so I did 5 days of driving 5 days in North Texas doing dental work 5 days driving to Mesa I'm here for 5 days Wednesday I'll be in Quartzsite. I hope we can have a drink my treat. Don
Hi just started watching your channel and there are 4 places that came up that I am very familiar with LOL. Was born in Michigan so I know all of the places in Michigan you have been to (all very beautiful) and lived in Carmel IN (still an IU fan LOL) for many years. Currently traveling in Ecuador and loving it. Had a very hard time deciding to either buy a motorhome and travel or travel abroad, chose the aboard for now but I am missing the states. Thank you for your post and I will continue to watch your adventures
Really enjoying your videos. My wife and I are in our early fifties and are wanting to do this when we retire. I'm eligible for full pension now but it would be better financially if we waited four more years. Dont know if I have enough patience for that. ;)
@@LyfUninterrupted Btw, if yall are ever come through Beaumont, Tx again we would love to meet you and treat you to some of the best cajun food you'll ever have.
On our trip this past summer we visited 15 states but didn't stay in all of them and went 8500 miles but those were side trips also. Thanks for the video. Hope to see you in Quartzsite.
Nice video, looking forward to more when you feel like getting back into making them. And, you had me a frosty mug of root beer.....mmmmmmm! Childhood memories for sure.
Hi Diana! We use the Garmin RV 770. The newest model is the RV 890 if not mistaken. Love it! You can do so may things on the fly with it. P.S. They are both in our Amazon Store😉
Hi Jan! No, that shot was from a snow tractor simulator inside the observatory museum. It really did look like we were driving up the mountain so we thought it would be fun to put it in the video.
Hi David and Tina! Thanks for the info on Charleston State Park. We drove through Louisville on our way to Lafayette. We use the Garmin RV 770 and love it. You can so many things on the fly with it. We have the 770 and the newer model(890) in our Amazon Store. Thanks for watching!
Nice summary, looks fun. In 2021 we put on 6800 miles in the Spring (Southern states- Feb to May), then we put on 6500 miles in the Fall (Northeastern states- Sept to Nov), that was a total of 32 states in 26 months, mostly saw states that we've never been to before. We're half-timers. We spent a whole month in Florida in Mar, even Key West. We'll try Seven Points next time, we stayed at Nashville Shores on the same lake in late Oct. Nice lake. In the Spring we stayed at Cedar Creek, about 11mi to the North on a different lake, a very nice COE park.
What a great recap of you're travel season. We have missed you two. (Would love to know what fuse/switch you had to replace when the MH wouldn't start when you headed to QS)
Hi Mat! It was the PCM power relay. I did a code check to make sure the PCM was OK, and it was. I did get a code for no PCM power so I checked the owners manual for a fuse or relay. Swapped it out with the same relay next to it and the coach fired right up. $15 fix.
Awesome video! No wonder you guys are so hip, your Midwesterners! Me too from that Indiana, Eastern Illinois area. I had a cottage at Bass lake and have friends at all of the places you filmed at, now in the Phoenix area when home. How do you figure out were to go and stay, just great planning, you seem very organised! Safe Travels!.
Hi Rick. We also live in Gilbert, AZ! When it comes to planning, we map out the general direction then find places to stay that are about 3 hours driving time from one another. Sometimes we'll stretch the driving time to 4 or 5 hours, but only if there is a need to. Thanks for watching!
Wow, I'm in Queen Creek close by. I assumed you full timed as you have so many adventures. :) Thanks for the reply, we are heading to the tampa show now then back home. Safe travels!
Loved watching this video, seeing all the great places to go someday in our new RV we just bought in December! Actually bought it from Michigan and brought home to Washington state, sadly stink bug infestation came with it! How do you get rid of them? Anyway I read where you guys are going to northwest soon, can’t wait for video on your travels near us! Beautiful country up here, enjoy!
Hi Linda! Getting rid of them has been problematic as they tend to hide everywhere then come out as it gets warmer. They seem to few and far between now.
@@LyfUninterrupted hi, thank you so much for your response back to my question regarding those awful bugs! We haven’t seen any come out in over a week now so we are hoping they are gone and not just hiding! Western Washington doesn’t normally have those, hopefully we didn’t start something 😐
You had a great year. Here is to hoping 2022 is even more epic.

When hooked up how do you guys get around?
We keep the car hooked up if we’re making an overnight stop. Unhooking only takes a minute or so if we decide to go somewhere.

Thanks for sharing your travels of the past year.....great to see you guys again!
Thanks! It went by so quickly…as do most things when you’re our age😁
I had to giggle at the Thunder Hole part.. Here’s a hole, it has water… Bryan confirms, yup it’s a hole… AND we’re off to the next place. 😆
🤣🤣🤣. It seems like that, but we had hours and hours of video to chop down to just a few highlights.

We thought about taking the coach up, but figured it would be too much for the people behind us to handle🤣🤣
