- The final scene from 1973's "A Touch Of Class" starring George Segal and Glenda Jackson. I've always loved the closing song "All That Love Went to Waste" Written by George Barrie and Sammy Cahn and performed by Madeline Bell.
RIP George Segal (February 13, 1934 - March 23, 2021), aged 87
RIP Glenda Jackson (May 9, 1936 - June 15, 2023), aged 87
RIP Paul Sorvino (April 13, 1939 - July 25, 2022), aged 83
You will be remembered as legends.
I saw 'A Touch of Class' when it was released in 1973. I have always loved this movie.
Bless you, George Segal.
What a great film that was.
Glenda Jackson has a lovely combination of vulnerablity and an inner toughness. What a pity she gave up an honourable profession to enter a dishonourable one.
Aah, those draughty British houses and their single glazing. But the interior decorations are so 1970s, fabulous.
I saw this movie on TV a few years ago and loved it.
Glenda Jackson is a true talent, her scenes in this film are memorable.
I love this movie
One of my favorite movies EVER.
The taxi scene -
The guy says, "Share it?"
Vicky: "Are you married?"
Him: "Yes."
Her: "You take it."
This scene and song always leave me with tears in my eyes. *sniffle*
Thank you for the translation! 🙏🏼. Stuart Michael Zonis, known as Stuart Damon (1937 to 2021)
Fantastic film.
We were close to it all....
my favorite version of this song was done by Tony Bennett - they had it in the juke box at a bar I hung out at in the early 70's...would love to hear it if anyone has the 45!
昔、テレビの深夜映画で見ました。別れのシーンとても素敵でした

@ojblas Thank your posting this song. It is one of my favorites. Would display lyrics of the song?
I agree, Tony Bennett did it the best.
I also like Jerry Vale’s version
