Warlock excels in normal lobbies, needing little to no gear in order to perform properly. You're playing a double fighter matchup which warlock naturally counters. You also eat multiple shots from the ranger forcing you to reset and give the warlock free reign to curse you and your team mate. You both have crossbows which have a longer reload time giving him more windows to curse, maybe try a regular bow and one person on crossbow? I'm guessing you have under 300 hours. Just don't fight certain matchups unless you have a clear advantage, this game is very paper scissors rock. You can't run down a warlock with a longsword and expect to keep up with his movespeed. You don't have to fight every enemy you see especially if your class is already at a disadvantage. You can also try playing the class to learn it's weakness, eg phantomize cooldown so you can abuse it properly and expect when it might be up again. I also hate this class but once you learn how the classes work a bit better it's not so bad. Hang in there bud.
@@B3_btw sadly, I have 760 hours, probably 850 including the betas. I know I’m charging into a losing battle, I just like to roll the dice. I feel like having an interaction where “if the other guy is a certain class, you have to run away” is bad for the game and I am putting myself in those hard fights so that I can get better. I clearly need it, as you can see. Also yeah I could just run a bow, but I don’t like using mechanics in games I feel are unfair and winning a fight on weapon mastery fighter would definitely not give me the same rush. Maybe if I wasn’t so lazy I would buy gear and leave the normals lobbies, but there is more pop and it’s fun when gear wise everyone’s even. Not to be a dick, but I don't think it would've mattered what class that guy was playing in the first clip. They were just a better player . Their positioning was good. Imagine if they were playing hand crossbow rogue. Situation would've been more impossible for you and your duo with your loadout choices. I just can't imagine complaining about any class other than druid as a fighter , considering fighter has the best matchup spread in the entire game.
Either you are a completely new player, or your just dumb. The statement is the same as saying. Nah The guy with an aimbot and esp, just outplayed you. Druid and Warlock has such an advantage, and like an aimbot or esp, they req no skill from the user.
@@Pizzanomicon please watch the fight again, there is a specific moment where if the warlock had been any other class without phantomize, he would be dead. They keep changing stuff about the warlock, but never touch phantomize. That's the problem. Reduce duration and remove movespeed buff.
@@christopheduron6181 duration is fine, increase recharge time and get rid of move speed bonus and yeah, I think it’d be fine
