    For those of you trying to propagate this plant, just know that all of the cutting of the cambium layer is not necessary, nor is rooting hormone. The key factors are warmth, time, and most importantly a large rootball. Notice that Tony has a pretty big bag of moss. That's crucial to success. Those little plastic balls that you snap on the stem to do a traditional air layering will not work with this species. If you can rig up a 5 gallon pot and cut a slit/hole in the side and run the branch through a pot then you'll get an entire pot full of roots before making the final cut and that's where you start to get very high success rates.
