I’ve got the same model mines going on its 14th winter. It’s been a great snowblower. A few things I’ve done that I believe have contributed to its longevity is when the unit has been sitting and is cold, start it up and let it idle for about 3 to 4 minutes to allow the oil to warm so it lubricates properly, only use Non-ethanol gas. If you get gas from a pump that only has one pump hose and it dispenses 87, 88 gas with ethanol and 91 or 92 non- ethanol gas I will push the button for 91 non-ethanol and put a couple gallons in my truck tank first then fill up my 5 gallon gas container next, that way I know I’m not getting 87 gas what’s left in the hose in my 5 gallon container. It might be overkill but I still put a couple ounces of stabilizer in the 5 gallon container just in case, let it idle low for about 3 - 5 minutes when done pushing snow which allows time to cool down, don’t just shut it down, brush off any snow you can after using and lastly once cooled down fill up the tank so you’re ready for the next use, this also helps keep condensation/water from forming in the tank. Again, congrats on the new snowblower. You maintain it and it shouldn’t leave you stranded.
Oh wow, thanks so much for the tips on keeping this thing running for a long time! I always find myself filling up gas before or halfway during a snow blow anyways, may as well just fill her up at the end every times, makes sense!!!
L never blow snow across the cleared area. And if you do not wish to have issues starting after it sits over the summer, drain the fuel tank and start it and allow it to run until it stops so there will be no fuel inside the carb which will cause clogged jets and it will not start next winter. I run Truefuel fourcycle engineered fuel sold at Lowes and Home Depot. If you use it you will not have carb issues. Just be sure the fueltank is empty before switching from one type of fuel to the other. They do not mix.
Great tips! Thanks for commenting!! I used premium gas with it, and put sea foam in it. It worked fine after one summer. Do you see any issues with that?
Please watch the video. I explained that I had it set to high cuz I use it to snowblow my backyard, with had sticks and such. But I am going to set it lower yep, think they are too high for my liking rightnow.

Looks like a nice machine!
Thanks! It does what it's made to do. Can't complain!
It is. I have one. It is nice.
@jimtemple5159 right on!!! So far I'm super happy with it!! How long have you had yours? Any issues after a while?

@scrambler69-xk3kv also about blowing across the cleared area, I just wanted to get the shot on camera, cuz that's where the filmer was standing. Haha
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Were the skid shoes set right because it left a lot of snow behind on the driveway.

@@LuRanOutdoors Oh, Ok. That explains it then, because I was wondering why it was leaving so much behind.
