I went with 1.25" wheel spacer/adapter to 5x5 and 225/75/16 jeep tires. Only rub on full turn. I get 1000 less rpm and can actually reach 80mph!(with the ac off)
It’s been great through the last two winters here! The small cabin space heats up quickly (almost too hot sometimes), although the coldest weather we get is around 15-25 F
@@ellisjdm I'm looking at getting a VR-II myself. I only AC when I am in stop and go traffic in the summer. And Florida is pretty flat so hills won't be much of a problem but I think that little turbo will help a lot.
@@NandR I think it’ll do great in Florida. Cruising with the windows down was plenty comfortable in the Texas heat. I’d do the same thing with the AC at stops sometimes. I’m sure the turbo will help with some get up and go on faster city roads!
Hey man, I think 205's would be a great option. The wheel rub on my set is really minimum but it does occasionally get annoying pulling tight turns. I'd imagine going a bit thinner would be a good call. Thanks for watching 👌
I know this video is a few months now but if possible can you tell how is it to purchase insurance for this car did you have any problems finding insurance. I am also here in Texas and hopefully soon I will be working as a post office rural carrier delivering mail, and I am thinking that the Mitsubishi Pajero would be a great car for the job especially since is a right hand driver. Thanks.

Do you have a pic bro would love to see how it looks!
Running 215/70/16 with 2inch spacers. It definitely makes it a hell more fun. Current top speed 91mph!
I see you had commented on another video that you're on guam, I am also, where did you get your wheels and tires?
That 80mph will proly be almost 85mph & require more torque than 90mph on factory wheels & tyres.
Do you have a lift or stock height?
Did you happen to measure before and after ground clearance with this set?
Thanks for the info. How well does the heater work?

Hey dude! You think 205/75R15s would be a better choice?

Hagerty insurance will insure pretty much any JDM and kei car.
A 1in wheel spacer will stop the rub.
