Do you know why you are using your fingers?? BECAUSE YOU CAN!! AND....not only is it FUN, it's also the most inexpensive, and easily accessible, art tool around! So get creating and GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY! 😁
🤪🤗🤣Absolutely!❤️
You are so creative. What an amazing idea. I have a question can we do acrylic paints on this as I don't have this color fil inks.
Alcohol ink would be new fir me. As I have a respiratory sensitivity, I have to be careful not to use anything with fumes. When I looked for Alcohol inks on Amazon, I saw references to resin or epoxy art. I'm not able to use epoxy, due to fumes. But my question is about the ink itself. Can you recommend a good Alcohol ink that will not have strong or irritating fumes.
BTW... I'm able to use acrylic paint and gesso without any issues as it is not irritating and has little to no fumes.
Ooh, AB, after just a minor glance at the picture of the upcoming video I thought of Vincent Van Gogh's Stary Night with your swirls. Then I watched the preview of your video and now I am looking forward to this new tutorial even more than normal and that is saying a lot because I am always looking forward to your new videos.
Thank you so much dear Kelly! ❤️ that is a very flattering comparison thank you!! Really glad you enjoyed this one and could join me during the premiere 😊 Wishing you all the best ❤️❤️❤️
That came out gorgeously! Your final framing idea was much, much nicer than it started out as. I love the idea of using different textures and paint pouring selectively, all on the same canvas. Mixed media pieces are awesome and always interesting. I adore the colours you used. I would love to see a fire element version of this art piece, using reds, yellows, and oranges perhaps. In fact perhaps you could create one for each of the elements, as a series? Would you consider that idea? Your use of metallics with the hot glue surprised me, I hadn't thought of that before, but it came out really lovely looking. Thank you for an interesting video, and never apologise for changing your direction halfway thru the process, it's your art piece and therefore you have complete control and must take it in any direction that your artistic nature impells you too. God bless you sweetie, to you and all those you love, now and always.
Thank you so much for this sweet comment, Carly! I really, really appreciate it!💙🥰 Yes, reds and yellows sound perfect for another one; I’m definitely planning on experimenting more with mixed media. God bless you too my dear!💕
That was so beautiful as always AB! Seriously can’t get over the complete shock at the end but the results were stunning!!! I love how you always push the bar and try something new.
Thank you so much dear! Hahaha glad I could make the process exciting and shocking 😋 I Definitely make it a point to keep trying and sharing new things 😁 I’m glad you’re on board for the ride!
Please do a new mixed media tutorial? I would love to see what you come up with. I've noticed, you don't actually use stencils in your projects?
Well, for me not new, I have done stuff like this way back in the day, 1980`s, SORRY, yep , done stuff with plaster and other things, not new...Tissue paper is beautiful to work with, as is crape paper, it stretches and moulds things that are underneath, super stuff. I found it whilst mucking around whilst doing 3d work , good for sculpting as well. any kind of paper that you can dip into plaster or gesso or glue...just saying.. done it.
Big ❤️👍👍👍
wow! so amazing and fantastic art tutorial.
great upload friend
Debería hacerlo con traducción, en castellano, si ya está hablando el inglés, yo no le entendí ni mucho. Está regio el cuadro, pero, hay un pero, no entendí el idioma.
The black frame really enhances your work AB. Fantastic result 👏 😍
Thank you so much Yvonne! I’m really glad I took the risk in the end! 😁❤️
Hi I am following you asking questions but no reback.. Your work very cute and nice
Oooooh wow. This is perfection. The entire time I was watching my brain was bombarding me with ideas for all the bits and bobs I save "just in case". What an amazing idea. Thank you for the inspiration. 😍
Hahaha! That’s awesome!😁Thank you very much!🥰💙
Don't you use your fingers because you like touching the paint?
I really love how abstract and whimsical it is. You never cease to amaze! 🥰
Thanks a lot my dear; glad you enjoyed it !🥰💙
My two favorite things: Abstract and Whimsical!
By far, your best .Thanks for sharing . You are very inspiring thanks again.
I'm blushing now🤗 Thank you so much for your lovely compliment!🥰💕
OH, MY, GOSH!!!!!! Fabulous! Amazing result wit alternate framing choice! You are brilliant! I hope i
Oops
Well again you’ve worked your magic with a surprise twist I love it!!
M. Night Shyamalan is QUIVERING after seeing this twist hahaha 😂 Glad you liked it dear Linda! ❤️
I really enjoyed watching your process of creating this entire piece. It was very interesting and turned out magical and beautiful ❤️ Thanks for sharing this video with us all. I'm subscribing now. Love love love it so so much.🥰😍
Oh, that’s so sweet of you! Thank you so much for your lovely compliments Amber and Welcome to the channel!👋💕🥰
Once again you amazed me!! This under water scene is so beautiful. I love that you put it in the black frame. Your pieces of art make me so happy! What I like the most is that you do something different each week. I can't wait to see what you create next.
Thank you so much, Wendy!🥰💙 I do looove surprises myself, haha😜
I absolutely love your art style and how you guiding us viewers on what and how you are doing your art. My first video I saw was the falling leaves/swipe. My mind was blown! I loved it. Your art gives me so much inspiration! And it helps that I am also in love with Arteza products. I have paint and canvases waiting for me to use, just no space to use them! I just hope I can use them before they go bad, if they ever do. Thank you so much for bringing this kind art into my life. I just love it. Keep the videos coming please!!! Lots of love from the PNW!
Thank you so much 🍐! So glad to hear about you getting inspired by my videos it means so much to me! As for the paints, I don’t think you have to worry about them going out of date any time soon 😂
You are most welcome and I’m so thankful for the support 💓
Sizin yaptığınız her çalışmayı beğeniyorum .Özellikle bu çalışmanızı denemek istiyorum, mükemmel oldu tebrikler.👏👏👏
Przepiękne, podobało mi się też białe, zanim położyłaś kolory👏❤️
Beautiful! As usual I had my doubts along the way. But as always you did not disappoint. It really does allude to fossils and sea life while keeping that abstract element too. Love the framing too.
Thanks a lot! I’m glad you like it!🥰💙I have my doubts half away through every project, lol😂
Some archeologist will find this piece in the future..lol
Hahaha 😂😂😂🪨⛏
А почему ни сразу на ДВП? Это было бы проще.
This turned out so pretty and it looks very fun to make!
Thank you dear! Glad you liked it - it was definitely a lot of fun to make hehe 😋❤️
Absolutely loved this!! This may be a very silly question though, could you have created the art directly to the back board of the frame instead of onto the canvas first? Or did you just decide at the end to change it up? 💕
Thanks a lot!💙 Yes, you are right, it wouldn’t make any sense destroying the canvas🤪and I explained in the the video why I changed my mind..
@@abcreativeofficial Thanks for replying, and I can't wait to give this inspirational multi media idea a try! 💙
What a great video. I was looking for something to do with my granddaughter and this just will work perfectly. The only thing I have to buy is a frame because everything else is from the craft room or around the house...Thanks I really love the tissue paper idea.
I’m very happy you found it inspiring; I’d love to see what you will come up with!🥰 You could always recycle an old frame perhaps..?
Oh Wow! Love this Sooo Much! The frame sets it off perfectly. I may just have to try something like that.
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment, Julie! I’d love to see a picture, please!🥰💙
Oh! When I saw that lacy stuff... I thought. Maybe I could make a spiderweb and a spider. Hmm, it's worth trying, right! :D Maybe you could do that too?
WOW - What else needs to be said. I love it, and I've been making Crafts for over 40 years.
That’s so sweet, Thank you, Peter!🥰💙
Your work is EXACTLY what I love to see!!! I am so glad to find your channel!!! I will begin a new piece, today, you are inspiring. I use tissue paper a lot and I have been too careful, but now...!!!
I’m so glad you found it inspiring! Thank you very much for your kind words and Welcome to my channel! 🥰💙👋

I've been searching youtube for something new to do and your video popped up in my feed!! This is incredibly awesome and so glad to have found your videos even though this is a year plus old! Nevertheless I will be binge watching your videos for awhile. Definitely something to try out. (I recently tore a ligament in my knee and instructed to rest.....rest I will !!!)
I have actually started framing my mixed media canvases as well and I'm always so worried when I cut the canvas off that I will cut wrong but they look so amazing framed.
Hi there Asia. Hope you are doing well? What's the name of that staple thingy, please? We have a craft show in May, called Hobby X, I would like to see if I can get it there. Thanks for a great video❤
I love mixed medis. I dont have alahol inks but i think watered down acrylics will work maybe? It's all about experimenting. I have everything else. Thank you for this incredible tutorial
Gorgeous! I love using texture in my work. And yes, I use my fingers to glaze the tops of the texture with color. It's so fun.
You gave me some ideas for sure with this amazing piece. Thank you.
Thank you very much, Gayla! 🥰💙I’m so happy to hear that! Don’t forget to send me a picture, please!
Beautiful work, absolutely stunning. Were you using gloss medium to attach rope? And what type of glue did you use to attach the canvas to the board?
Another week another day of incredible art! It was pretty interesting to see you try new techniques and create something eye popping :p
You are always so kind dear Wolfurizky, I really appreciate it! 🥰💙
You are always breathtaking for me! 😯🤩😍
Wow! So different! Thank you for sharing your process. I do appreciate your advice to never give up. B~}
I do love watching you create and so pleased when you use things you’ve found around ❤. Makes me happy to see “stuff” used creatively to make something beautiful, blessings
Thank you very much, Kara! 🥰💙Bless you too!💕
I was unable to watch you yesterday, but I made up for it today and have watched you twice so far, today. Your process to the final piece was really awesome. Changing your mind and redoing this and that to realize a vision is human prerogative. I have lived near the ocean several years of my life and I love to snorkel. The lace and strings remind me of coral and grasses. The cardboard reminds me of lobster cages and pieces of old sunken boats. The rolled rope is so clever to replicate nautilus shells. Your really do have the mind of a very clever artist and you are a great educator. Well done Teach, well done.
Oh what a wonderful comment, Phylis, thank you so much!🥰💙I’m so happy you could see all these underwater items; I never thought of lobster cages, though. I also never tried snorkelling, but I’d love to! 🤿
Superb. Just mind blowing 👌👌I just loved the idea.🌹
Oh my. That is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us . I love it.
You are so kind, Thank you, Mary!🥰💙
How do you finish a piece like this? Are you sealing it in any way after or using anything to preserve it? Thank you for your time!!
Beautiful, and that frame's perfect. I really liked this painting because it was made from cheap, easily available items, and easy techniques, great for beginners like me. I would love to see more like this. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure! Thank you so much for your lovely compliment!🥰💙 I do love using every day, easily available items😁
Why didn’t you just create the composition on a canvas panel to start with? Why pay for a high end stretched canvas and then tear it up and create a canvas panel out of it. Just curious. Anyway…loved the process and loved the product. You seldom disappoint.
It's beaitiful and différent but more dark Magic than underwater
Wow, I am amazed. You are so talented. Thank you so much for sharing your talents🌸
Love this one too…,way too much…I would love to create something similar for myself ❤
I love your tutorials! I go ahead and try them out- but in my own way. Thanks so much! This one I will try too!!
That’s great! I’d love to see a picture, please!🥰💙
