This is just a video on how I mix and apply my toner to cancel out the yellow tones in my hair directly after bleaching...
And toner is to be applied after towel drying shampooed hair... do not use conditioner or it will not work.....
This mixture can be done in a million ways... more 050 less t14 or even more t14 and a pinch of 050... it's a trial and error concoction you will make but its perfect because you can make it specifically for what you really need.... if your hair is pulling veryyyy yellow and not pale then add more 050 and you'll learn as you go ... this recipe has been my go to and this is to achieve GRAY HAIR .... it can be used to of course tone your blonde hair but that is not what I USE it for ! So I'm well aware it turns blondes grey and that's why I use it for maximum time 😁

I'm 53, and the front of my hair is basically a natural shiny grey, with streaks of white here and there. But, I've always wanted to try this. First of all, thank you for this! I've used so many off-the-shelf kits, and ended up with purple or oddly enough. Light Brown hair. Not one beauty supply place mentioned the 050 additive. When I went back in to get the additive, they were all, "Oh yeah! That makes sense!" And then provided the wrong ratios. I'm not complaining, trust me. I've learned everyone's hair is different. Thanks again for this! BTW, my hair came out fantastic!
Hi Kristina. I followed your video and I have the same hair style as you. I bleached my dark roots only on the top just like you did, covered for 30 mins and left a nice light blond color. I used the whole bottle of T-14 and half of T-50 and 6 tablespoons of 20 vol. OMG, came out just like yours. A beautiful platinum/grey color.....love it. Thank you for your video...💋💋💋💋

thanks you so much its the best video ever for tone hair gray I use 2 bottles of t14 and 4 of the developer I use the same toner empty bottle to add developer and the 050 whole bottle and my hair from platinium its now gray I leave it 30 minutes thanks you!!! before having platinium hair I have golden blonde so I use the loreal platinium from feria and all works great!!!

Kristina Angelina I was simply trying to get highlights and I accidentally used one wrong devoloper mixed with a right devoloper (I had a small bottle) and it did nothing, I'm still orange!!! I am definitely having to tackle this mess in the morning cause my hubby is coming home and I had orange hair when he left!!!
+Mim Mim if it is still in the orange stage and you're trying to make them blonde you mightttt need another bleach session... toner won't work for u at that stage .... just use 20 developer when bleaching again and check it every 5 min when it's pale yellow that's when the toner will help.... I hope it works out good luck

1 bottle may not be enough… if that’s all you have it’s one bottle of the t14 + fill that same bottle up twice with developer + 1-2 capfuls of the 050 depending how deep you want the silver to be

Hi! Noticed your comment & since I am a bleacher, I will tell you I use Wella Blondor bleach. Do NOT buy box bleach unless you have short hair like this beautiful woman. I have also used Manic Panic. Again bleach box 👎👎👎 I see a lot of people using Clairol BW2 (Which I want to try next). I also suggest 20 volume as opposed to 30 volume. 20 Volume seems less damaging to my hair. Good luck!! 😊🙂🍀

After finished applying ... it's easier to apply then bleach so it quick !

is t14 better than t18? i have bleached hair its more on the yellow side now WITHOUT toner in it so i want to tone it to a lighter silver rather than dark silver that i have been seeing (t18 mixed with 050)
If you don’t want it to be dark and your hair is a pale yellow don’t use the 050 - the t14 used to be called silver lady and t18 used to be caled white lady - so the t14 will give u the silver - if your hair is as light the t18 will go more white lightttt grey
Do you find that the color fades fast. I did the same products on my bleached hair and the color lifted after about a week.
Toner def fades fast because it’s only to neutralize the present tones of yellow or orange but it’s not dying your hair so it’ll wash out fast- when this happens and you want something permanent try sparks hair color in silver mist or starbright silver depending on the tone you’re going for

You are so helpful and explain so well. I just used your hair color video to turn my hair grey. It was great. I would like some further help. I bleached my hair white all over even edges. The color looks great but for some reason the hair around my ears and neck turned darker shade than top even though bleached the same. I love the color but am thinking my hair will need to be just a little darker shade of grey, not much please, in order to be the same and balanced. Can you tell me how to make it a little darker grey but not by much so I will blend. I love this color and want it to work. Thanks for your help! Mimi

Ok so you could go in w this mixture of toner and add a tad more of 050 OR maybe you could try to shampoo only the parts that are dark to fade it to look like the rest ....

Thank you for being so quick to reply. I am using conditioner as we speak. I will wash it after that and see if it evens out. If not, then I'll get back to you. I also considered using just 050? What do you think? I understand fully what "parts" means and did follow directions exactly. I think your formula is good and think it's just the way my hair takes the toner. It is a big help in how accurately you explained and gave clear instructions completely. I thank you for that and keep up the great work! I'll get back to you so you and others will know if this happens to them.

I use a little bit of shampoo and conditioner to make sure I’ve got all the toner out and I️t doesn’t keep processing in my hair
How much toner each do I use for longer hair exactly? I love this color
I'm not exactly sure !! But if it realllly long I'd probably get 2-3 bottles to play it safe remember to saturate the roots first and then bring it through ❤️

What is 8 parts? Do you mean 8 ounces? New to all this, sorry.. and did you previously use a toner in your hair to get it the blonde color you had before using the t14 and 050?
I don't know the exact measurement I use ... I show u the cup I use but if you use an ounce of toner you use 2 ounces of developer ... so put enough that you'll need for all your hair ...... and the blonde color was after I bleached it I use the toner to make the blonde go away.... So let's say I used 1 bottle of the t14 toner -- you need to fill the same bottle 2x with developer and then I added half a bottle of 050 no extra developer for that bc it's an additive... hope that helps !

Ok... SO lol 050 technically is supposed to be only capfuls but I don’t follow capfuls ... sooo if it were me I’d probably add a quarter of the container BUT it does depend how yellow or brassy your hair really is .... if I didn’t get a really light bleaching and it’s very yellow instead of pale yellow I’d go extra on the 050 or if it is pale yellow less on the 050... it really is about playing w concoctions and figuring out what works best w ur hair but I’d probably never mix more then half the bottle with the 2 t14s because it’ll over power it too much and might go blueish..... I have used 050 on its own and it can look on the blue side ...
T18 is to achieve whiter lighter hair - T14 will give you more grey silver....
It’s possible their hair wasn’t that light to begin with and turned it grey I’m not exactly sure ....
Make sure you don’t have regrowth or if you do try not to apply the toner on the dark hair - in my experience it’s turned my dark hair brown/ gold and it’s not pretty - if your hair is really yellow and brassy it would just tone down it down and probably give it ash tones but it might not turn grey or silver .....
I can’t say for sure because I don’t exactly know the color of your hair how long it is etc etc

I have honestly kept my leftovers but the tone is never as good as a fresh bottle I recommend not shelfing an open bottle

Bleach it again for 20 then start checking every 5 min to wash it out then use t14 toner

For the parts what is the measurement? My hair is short like yours
use a bottle of t14 and add a quarter of the 050 and use double the amount of developer only towards the t14..... so if you use one whole bottle of t14 fill the same bottle with developer twice and then add the 050 and mix well

Oooh I see ok sorry ! I’ve only ever used this directly after bleaching so if my hair was super pale blonde it’ll turn white as it fades or if it wasn’t light enough it’ll turn beige blonde - to help get rid of the grey faster you can use head and shoulders shampoo or a clarifying shampoo - to keep it cool tho I’d recommend using a purple shampoo not long at all though to avoid the purple tint it can leave on your hair but that def goes away in a wash or 2
@@KristinaAngelina oh great! So whether or not I use the head & shoulders shampoo it should fade back to blonde..? Also one small last thing, with the toner I was given an activation creme instead of the developer as usual... Does that affect anything?

Any tips on how to remove blueish tones out of freshly dyed grey hair?????
You can try 2 things - clarifying shampoo or purple shampoo - not to long in the clarifying you risk washing out the grey too just 2-3 minutes and then on the purple shampoo it’ll help keeping your hair grey and get rid of the blue - just a few minutes too should do the trick make sure not to lather the purple shampoo try to keep it pigmented n then rinse 👍🏼
So just comb the shampoo through for a few minutes, then rinse?

My question : I went in with dark brown hair .( some gray spots already there )..
After one treatment , my hair was like orange . Light orange ....
Then she put a darker color on my head and sent me home . Said to return in 3 weeks .
Really .... what is going on ????
she's doing in parts to maintain the integrity of your hair ! if done in all one shot you risk alot of damage and she probably put a color to hold you over until your next appointment so your not walking around with orange hair... if in one sitting you went light orange - id think you'd only need one more session!

+Lily DeAngelis no it won't have the same effect... you don't have to use the additive but it overall depends on how yellow ur hair is you should add it in to really help counteract it ... it does make it more of a gray steel color and w out it it might look beige instead of grey again depending of the yellowness

I’m not 100% sure bc I have maybe 2 strands of hair 🤣 but I’d do 2 bottles of t14 and 1 bottle of 050 you don’t need the whole bottle of 050 technically you only need capfuls but I add about a quarter of the bottle

So let's say I used 1 bottle of the t14 toner -- you need to fill the same bottle 2x with developer and then I added half a bottle of 050 no extra developer for that bc it's an additive... hope that helps ! 💕
Easier to think of it in cups: so: if you think of each part as a 1/4 cup you would need:
1/2 cup of 050 (2 parts or 2 x 1/4 cup);
1 cup of T14 (4 parts or 4 x 1/4 cup); and
2 cups of developer (8 parts or 8 x 1/4 cup)

Imagine ounces - if I use 1 ounce of toner then I need 2 ounces of developer - double your second measurement
I have a client who's mostly grey but bleached out blonde (looks yellow), she wants to go with a darker grey underneath and lighter on top. Would I be able to achieve this look by using more of the 050 on the underneath, foiling, and then applying the mixture you used on the top? If so, how much of the 050/t14/developer do you think I should use for the darker area? Thanks, and great video, very self explanatory!
If she wants darker I’d add more 050 and less on top .... assuming her hair is a pale yellow and I’m not sure about foiling with toner ... hope this can help

Does it go back blonde ?
when it fades, depending on how well you bleached it will fade to a white with maintenance using blue shampoo.... but it could also go beige and dull in color - hope this helps!

About 2 -3 washes - maintain it with purple shampoo so even though the color may fade the shampoo will help it not turn yellow or brasst

Ounces depends on how much hair you have and how much product youll need.... what matters is the parts ...
4 parts t14 ... 2 parts 050.... and 8 parts developer....... so if you use one 1 ounce of t14 - you need half an ounce of 050 and 4 ounces of developer - i BARELY have hair so I don’t need much I probably use a quarter of a bottle
