I noticed a mistake with the event "Infection Zone Ban". It stays active for 4 turns but as soon as its used it goes away. So it only ever prevents 1 chain reaction. So if you play it on your turn and in that same turn pull a card that causes a chain reaction, you prevent it and the even deactivates.
So i ran into a problem with some friends and we didnt know what to do. We cured yellow and eradicated it as well, but our next cure we were working on in the lab was red card that also needed yellow cubes to complete it. So since we eradicated yellow, we essentially stopped ourselves from being able to get any yellows to put into the lab, bringing our game to a halt. Did we lose at that point or should we have kept drawing the research cards in the lab until we had one that didnt require yellow?
It's been a while since I brought ItL to the table but I'm pretty sure this isn't specifically addressed in the rulebook. However, the way we've played is that you'd need to start drawing additional research cards until you found one that would work.
It says in the rules 'spots of an eradicated disease's colour on a sequence card can be filled by cubes of any colour'. Also, cubes from eradicated diseases stay in the lab if they were already there when you eradicated the disease!
