great review mate, I actually went to Adelaide a few months ago and i bought a few of these to drink at my accomodation and i did enjoy them but i do think it was for the novelty of it, the bottle shop worker when i asked him what they are, described them as the 'tooheys new of south australia' haha
Great review, mate. I drank plenty of these on a boys trip to Radelaide in 2000. At the time we thought it was a super brew, possibly due to the exotic nature of the beer thanks to the parochial distribution tendencies of Lion. Even if that was the case, like you, we all thought it was better than VB and XXXX. Cheers!
