- Well what a awesome weekend not only did I get to attend a great event, but also got the corvair van out for the first time in ten years thanks to the guys at Octane and Iron.
They busted butt to get all the new parts in a short amount of time so I could drive around the fairground with a big smile on mybface this weekend.
Well hope you enjoy the video I'm already on the road for the next show in Desmoines for the GoodGuys event.
Hope you enjoy the video, and are having a car filled summer

Awesome video! Definitely some amazing trucks there! I may have to make the trip to Houston next year.
I think they might be moving it to a cooler weekend next year, but we will see…….I know I’m down for it being cooler it was a awesome show
@@NotStockPhoto Sounds like a good idea. Texas in June is hot! 🔥
@CarShowFOMO yea it was definitely hot one of the vendors brought a huge pool for their booth 😂
Great show, and you seem to have some talent behind a camera, but under no circumstances would I drive that van all weekend without air cleaner of some sort.
Even through Clark's Corvairs, you'll end up spending 5 grand to replace that motor.
I did the video when we had the air cleaners off and were trying to do a quick tune on it, and right before it got trailered back to the shop. They literally got it running with new carb, tank, sender, lines……etc right before it left for the show.
They were more concerned with me driving after they had also replaced all the brakes on it, and had no test miles.(might fault because it had 15yr old tires up until Wednesday)
Thanks for the kind words on the show, and on the video 🙏
Didn't know this van existed until 2 months ago lol looking to get one now! Love yours! 👌🏽 do you have or can make a video on how u bagged it?
So this van has been bagged since before UA-cam was cool and we all had video cameras with us.
My great friend Mitch Henderson bagged it originally using the factory control arms I’ll see if I can put something together though.
It was on my classic cars when it was blue, and then on season three of garage dreams on the discovery channel.
@NotStockPhoto hell yea thanks bro! This is just giving me more motivation to get one lol
There is a whole group on Facebook that’s dedicated to corvair vans
YBNORMAL!!!!
That’s my motto
