This melody is contained in a book with title "Die Mandoline" with a large collection of mandolin solos that has been published in East Germany (DDR) around 1980. A great collection for mandolin players!

@@Tatokala yap. I learned some. But I am planning on buying a new mandolin that's of higher quality and more professional. I first bought a cheap one to see if I could learn to like the instrument and I really liked it.

I searched for mandolin on youtube and I found this video. It took me 1 day to learn this Hungarian Dance piece. It is so easy to learn compared to most classical guitar pieces. The book starts with very easy tunes and get gradually more difficult. I have practiced several other pieces which I like.

Do you have information about the mandolin in Turkey? I have seen mandolins in pictures from the Village Institutes from 1940 - 1950, and I know Kerim and Selim Altinok. I have some mandolin methods from Turkey too.

Yes, I have. Mandolin... It was simged in the Village Institues of my country. It is a Spanish mandolin (Esteve) your seen in the picture. But I have one more, an old mandolin (Turkish Metin) Mandolin was forgetten in my country, what a pity. I had lerned to play mandolin 60 years ago in Village İnstitüe 1956 - 1960 and I played since 60 years. I play it now. The Village Institues was finished in the year 1954. When I educated they were now teacher schools.
