So if anyone doesn’t understand understand what they were trying to explain...her blood type will treat the baby as a parasite like he said...so if the baby’s blood and her blood mix they will basically fight each other...if that were to happen she would have to get a blood transfusion...I know this bc my sister had the same problem...if that were to unfortunately happen to her which isn’t really common then they would have to induce her just a little bit earlier than her due date only bc the transfusion will only last about 3 weeks before they would have to do another one...again it isn’t really common and the shot will most likely protect the baby but that is basically what the shot is for!!!! Hope that kinda helped y’all u understand...anything I didn’t cover it’s bc that would take forever to type lol but I highlight the key parts!!!

me that they had blood ready in case we kids needed a transfusion.
