Like many other guys we couldn’t afford to get any of this shoes as kids , now we Do . Even we 35+ years old, getting nostalgia about 80s and 90s basketball shoes .
I have a 2017 pair, and I made sure I grabbed one of these. This was always one of my grails growing up! Hope everyone that really wanted one was able to accomplish that goal.
Goodluck with that. Reebok as a brand is a joke. Enormous basketball history, but too lazy to bring back any of them, just don't blame Adidas for that. Cardi B take over the website, as well as the Question's, and Answer with spikes 😷🤣😂.
I still have my pair from the last release, may actually get another pair. To me, Reebok in the 90's was the best. The basketball lineup that they had was incredible! I really wish that Reebok would go back, look at their basketball lineup from the 90's, and start reproducing those! Another great and entertaining video from Weartesters!
I had some in the 1984 that were leather uppers and so comfortable and well made that I wore riding my motorbike. The soles lasted nearly 3 years and the uppers were strong, supportive and stayed together without splitting and they were less than £50 at the time. I'm not sure what model they was but I think they were before that gimmick expensive pump system. Can anyone let me know who remembers them. They were dark blue and white I think and nice and less than half the price of the latest top tech ones at the time that cost well over £100. They were a hi top boot I think. Best sport shoes boots I've ever had by far. The soles or uppers didn't last even a year on Nike or puma but puma was nice and red and black suede with a beige rubber herringbone sole that was sadly too thin to wear well

As someone who had the 92 ShaqAttaq in school: The best thing about this release is definitely the shape. The toebox is spot on, the quality of leather was so awesome on the original and is okay here. The pump system is also passable. The OG pump wrapped around the top of your foot and was very responsive. It is definitely a downsized version. The release valve protruded on the tongue and was fixed, this one just floats around the inside of the tongue and I have to find it!! It is definitely a great looking shoe, I just wish Reebok would refocus on better quality. Some of the retro pump models from around 2010 like the Twilight Zone or the Omni Zone 1 were AWESOME! Great leather, full functional pump system and very comfortable ERS cushioning. I surely hope they will get there again someday. 😊
If you get a pair check the toeboxes, on mine the leather on one of the shoes is thinner then on the other one, pretty bad quality...😕 Overall the leather on these isn't that great...

I saw the size 22 shaq attack shoe at the design museum. It was part of an exhibition on sneaker culture. That exhibition many different trainers and advertising campaigns. It was one of the few exhibitions open just after the 2nd covid lockdown in the UK.
These are sweet! I wanted this so bad in the 8th grade. All my lawn mowing money went toward Air Jordan 7s. I really, really, really wish Reebok would retro release the SHAQ sandal. Please Reebok, I want the SHAQ sandal.
One of my favourite all time sneakers! Also, grew up in the Reebok Blacktop 3x3 era. Dee Brown (dudes hands are huge) & Danny Manning came to Australia for it, managed to win a Blacktop outfit & shoes, but couldn’t make the finals. Great memories. Just wish they made these bad boys in a size 16. We usually don’t get shoes past a size 14 here & our average height is taller than the USA (by an inch, hahaha)

The tech was/is called Graphlite not graphite. I'd love to know of these actually feature graphlite(or carbon fibre, for that matter) and not the zig zag designed plastic they have used in past reissues.

Brought these when the first came out with CO2 pump and my summer job 💴 my Mom flipped out had me take them back. I wound up getting some David Robison kicks and a Force Nike. I was so mad but I learnt the value of money but placing my order after seeing this.
Great video as always. The toe shape is clearly inspired by AJ VI, only more fluid and stretched. And it has to be graphite because carbon fiber can only be black. Graphite must be a combination of carbon and nylon fibers.
I wish Reebok would get back into BB & get another big signature athlete. I don’t think it’s realistic for them to get someone of the caliber of a Shaq or Iverson. I miss Reebok the Step back Answer 4s are 1 of my favorite shoes in my collection (& they came w/ PU INSOLES!)

I recently got the Street Fighter edition pair, those shoes are beautiful, the only thing I’m concerned about is the fitting, I got them on the size I usually wear, but these feel kinda narrow on the toe, especially on the outer side of it, any ideas on how to make them a bit more confortable on that part? We had this convo before bro. This is the first BBall shoe to have carbon fiber, and Reebok owned the pattent to have the carbon fiber directly under foot, and that is why the Air Jordan 11 put the carbon fiber under the EVA. And the Shaq Attack toe as well as the overall paneling and design language, was bit from the Air Jordan 6. So Nike did not bite Reebok. Reebok copied Nike. Put them up side by side and you will see it. The entire black side panel piece of the Shaq Attack is an exaggerated side panel piece of the Air Jordan 6. Even the blue pod on the ankle of the Shaq Attack is where the Air Jordan 6 had the molded ankle pop out. Once Nike had MJ and Tinker, they weren't copying anyone's design language, for the most part.
These got me back into sneaker collecting in 2013. Guess no demand since u can still get at retail. I had to win them from the Reebok website back then.

They have the most comfortable shoes by far. All of the Shoes coming with orthopedic insoles have always been a huge selling point for me.

Carbon fiber can most def be stronger than steel. Lamborghini and Ferrari make entire cars out of it
