I would add: reduce dried out root stress by 1.) Generously water at least 30 min before transplanting. 2.) Order of process is important... Rapidly transplant the seedlings one at a time... followed asap by watering finished seedling to settle the dirt. 3) use a spray bottle of lukewarm water. to wash any dirt off the leaves.
HEY, Pat and Sandy!! Thanks for the suggestion. I definitely like the idea of watering before transplanting the seedling. That would have made it easier take out.
