Don't matter if it has 750hp or 1750hp it's pointless. FWD so no traction. Only way to utilize all that power is on slicks on a prepped track surface. You and I both know a 400HP 911 will rape this thing from any kind of race. Straight line, on a road course, on a drag strip, from a dig, from a roll.
@@thatebutuoyguy788 Completely doubt that hahaha. you act like weight distribution and handling is something that only a '911' can do. Dont get me wrong, i love 911s, but they obviously do make suitable suspension and tire setups for fwd. I've seen plenty rwd and awd get eaten up in autox.
@@Bladesje AutoX is just about the only thing that power/weight balance is neutralized I think. Hell, I've seen weaker "hot hatches" keep up with a GTR and 911s in tight canon carving areas. My point was 750hp in this car seems to be ridiculously overpowered for its drivetrain. Even Supras MK4 have trouble putting that kind of power down. Of course I could be wrong but I've seen videos where cars are breaking traction when they have too much power without proper support mods like I mentioned before.
@@thatebutuoyguy788 The owner of this car would never do a dig, there's no point. This car would wipe the floor with a 911 on a roll, which is probably the only thing this car is designed to do.

Interesting. The first was replaced around 75k with a used one under warranty plan. That one had a sticky second gear by 100k, but i drove it to 180k. I didn’t mash gears, and rev matched.

I would really like to know what all you have done to your car to get 780 horsepower and what two step control module did you use I'm looking at spending a good bit of money on mine I have a 2012 Speed 3 that I was looking at buying the denkai 2 but it's 7009 oh you can buy the BNR Turbo bolt onto a stock motor A friend of mine has one in here in Georgia it's pushing 500 + on a stock motor so would really like to know your details

Loved and miss my red 2008 MS3. Fragile trans. Are you able to make them durable? I had 2 and mostly just dealt with bad synchros.
Kerry Koskinen how many miles did your speed 3 have? The trans is actually crazy strong it holds like 800+ hp. It’s just after enough miles they will wear out. If maintained probably they are great!

@@StevenDevey Oh thanks for that TIP Steeve, didn't know that, fir the MS6 is the transfer box (ms6) also resistant to a big forged engine like that ?
Mario DANTAS well the speed 3 and 6 have the same engine. Both gear boxes have 1st and 2nd forged gears. The transfer case is also quite strong. It too might be forged as well. It has been known to handle 800 whp.

Its just a weekend driver. I got a gtx 3076 and the header I'm using is off a 2007 focus .. It's very reliable shes been treating me very good when it comes down to smokin them v8s lol

It has turbo lag. It’s a ball bearing turbo, which helps a lot but with a turbo of that size it’s going to have some sort of lag no matter what!

@@StevenDevey it started to make like a rattle noise dont know if it is the motor,loose cams, catalytic converter ,loose pulley,bad time, the rattle noise went away have to investigate..the major role is i dont trust mechanics they always try to scam one way or another..

Lee O 'b no this is not the oem sleeves. I believe they are darton dry sleeves. And then of course it has forged pistons and rods

Lee O 'b for sure keep the stock sleeves. And for sure keep the stock crank. No need to key it. People have made 700whp on stock sleeves and no keyed crank, with zero issues. It won’t hurt to do those things but just a waste of money if you are shooting for anything under 800. 500 would be quite reliable with those options.

What cv axles are you running??
Brennan Ford hey the axels on this mazdaspeed 3 are oem. Oem handle a lot of power. The only other option is DSS axels. I believe the owner of this speed 3 has DSS axels now.
Cool car, though not my preference. It's over-turbo'd, which makes turbo response slow and lazy, and then when it hits it's too much to put to the ground. I prefer something that's much more responsive and in the 500-550whp range, like a Gen 2 5558. That's a better overall match for the driving dynamics of the Speed 3 chassis. That's the plan for my 2010.

Geronimo Jr you are never supposed to use a banjo bolt. If the turbo is smoking it means it needs to be replaced. Some people swear by using it on the stock turbo. I personally think you should just get a new turbo

@@Marshallbuttholeman safely built isn’t a thing. A built engine is always difficult to know how safe it is. A big turbo on stock engine is better but still tough to know gotta do the work yourself to be sure
